Looks like it has started. I just got an email from an Agent Herring.

Quote:
Hello again, Very Nice Member Of The General Public! This is The Agency here. Well, not the whole organisation. Just me. My name's Agent Herring, but you can call me...Herring.

I'm hoping you know what this is about already. Remember a little while ago, when you went to www.operationsleepercell.com and gave in your e-mail address? Need me to narrow it down even more? Oh my, you must give your e-mail address to random strangers quite a bit. Well, we sort of promised you biscuits. And a ringtone. You only received one of them right away. Ring any bells?

Of course it does. We said we'd get back in touch when we were ready to launch our Operation, and when our website was up and running. Well have I got news for you!

We're really very excited about these new developments, and think you should be too. That's why we're asking you to head back on over to www.operationsleepercell.com and www.wearenottheagency.com and poke your nose around a bit, basically. Good spies, good Agents always scope out their surroundings before getting themselves into possibly sticky situations.

On the sites, you'll find a lot of...things that will explain what's going on a bit better than I have so far. And of course, as soon as you get yourself over there, we can begin your training. In particular, I recommend you take a look at the play section of the Operation's site, plus of course our centrepiece, the Grid. Meanwhile, on the Agency's site, you can find out about our background (and, by extension, that of the Operation) in the History section. History can be fun!

By the way, did you tell your friends and family about our, uh, arrangement? If you did, then they might have gotten this e-mail too. If you haven't, why not?! Oh well, this is the perfect opportunity to get others involved to help us out and, of course, become Agents together!

I wish you all the best with your training, and will no doubt be in contact soon.

Agent Herring, Head of Operation: Sleeper Cell, The Agency.

P.S. If you didn't sign up on www.operationsleepercell.com, we're frightfully sorry. We won't send you any more email.

Teams

Soooo much content to look through on the site straight away!

I'm looking through the 'How to Play' section and I've come across:
Quote:
The Agency are all about collaboration, so it makes perfect sense to play with your friends. Form a team of agents to share your progress.

So, teams anyone?

Imaginatively, I'm Sarah B. Laughing

I'll create a team, I've figured out how, hehe. I'm rubbish at team names, so I apologise for the rubbishness in advance. Look for 'Hobnobs'. Everyone knows they're the best biscuits for dipping in tea. Wink

"Darklight" has a team with two members now, and we welcome more people! Come on guys, let's show these guys what we're made of!

Send requests to me if interested.

On teams...

The donations page wrote:
# When you donate, your money will be converted to our in-game currency 'BND' (Bonds).
# Use your BNDs to unlock a mission cell directly, or send BNDs to your team's account.
# Team leaders can use team funds to unlock mission cells.
# Unlocked cells become available to all players - for free.

So basically, if we club together all in one big team (I vote the one that's already started, and that I'm already in *cough*) we can send funds to the team and all get the missions, for the price of one.

(yes, I'm a cold, heartless man)

ETA: Does anyone know which song the line "of that I'm sure" comes from? I'm stumped.

Yay, I have a friend. Very Happy

There might be some mileage in having two teams, since we do already, just in case they need to be used for something else later.

Paying only gets you a cell before other teams. After 12 hours, they go live to everyone. Smile

I worked out the sentence in that song one, but... couldn't get the answer. Oops. lol

Does frying poison mushrooms make them okay? If so, I'll stay away from the pasta.

ETA: Guess not...
Now I'm torn.

I figured that anything I could find a recipe for through google probably wasn't that bad for me. Wink

What do we do when there are multiple songs that fit the message in the blanks? Of the songs I found, only one was sung by guys.
Does capitalization count?

ETA: Got it. It was an issue with multiple songs having the same lyrics.

Used all of my attempts for today (I could find them all on Google).
Oh well.
