Listen and Learn Song titles puzzle One of the puzzles is entitled Listen and Learn.
Quote:
Agent Nova has always considered herself something of an undiscovered pop talent, but she's never had a number one hit in the UK. In fact, she's always leaping around the building singing something or other to herself. She keeps dropping her notepad when she's doing it. Last week it fell open on this page. Are these just the scribbles of a dreaming wannabe or is there something more to them?
The note reads:
EYES ONLY
TOP SECRET
The pieces --- my broken heart
When --- you do is change your clothes and call that versatile
We'll break --- people off angel style
A million love --- later
Just another --- champion sound
--- that I'm sure
To --- a book she'll read
I was born too late and to a world that --- care
Back in your arms where I ---
What is the answer?
The missing words from the song titles read...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OF - ALL - THESE - SONGS - ONE - OF - US - DOESN'T - BELONG
... but I haven't yet worked out the final answer.

I can't believe no-one but me and Tex likes Hobnobs. It's sad.

I meant anything on that list...
I'm still staring at Innocent Mail and giving it a poke every now and again. I feel that I should know the answer and yet... it's eluding me.

Leading Role Problem

LEADING ROLE
Cryptic clue training is all part of a spy's training. Here's a little teaser for you from the Agency Induction Questionnaire v.7.3 (To Be Served After Tea): can you identify the described celebrity?
My career spans many decades and began in the 1930s. Internationally recognised, I have worked with all the greats - one of my earliest appearances was alongside Humphrey Bogart in the 1947 production of Dark Passage during a fight scene.
Other actors that I've worked with include Roger Moore, Christopher Walken and Clint Eastwood. I even made a brief appearance with Steve McQueen in the 1968 production of Bullitt.
Although in my 70s, I continue to work making a stand in X-Men 3, although I do hope it won't be my last!
Who am I?
Having searched the online movie database, I'm thinking this isn't an actor/actress we're looking for, but maybe a prop or weapon of some sort.

I think you're right as it says it is over 70 years old and started working in the 1930s which would be working when less than 8 years old - possible for a person but not likely. I think I might have to watch Bullitt and X-Men 3 tonight as they're the only ones on the list I have on DVD...

I don't mean to get huffy or anything, especially as I haven't been back here since the end of PxC but could people PLEASE remember to spoiler answers to the puzzles!
This game is technically in motion now, and I can see this thread getting really messy now that we've started discussing the puzzles. Any chance of starting a new thread in Chaotic Fiction?

I got it in the end thanks to a hint from Doublecross. Just Google the main films and see the link between them.
