It appears that everyone who is interested in student council will start campaigning on the first day of school. Sep. 22 is I'm not mistaken. Then the next Monday everyone will vote (Sep. 29?).

Also seeing the Prof. DeGrance's post on the new SEALs thread. I'm guessing this makes JohnV a IG character.

Also from Jan's post in the introduce yourself thread we see she is a Djinn in her profile.

Quite a bit of information.

I'm also signed up for newspaper and yearbook...

Apparently Jan is online ATM and I've been asking about SEALs, here's her reply to me asking specific information (i said something about feeling like I was wearing a mask all the time...)

Okay, well basically we're fighting for equality with humans. I think it's really important that we try and promote tolerance and civility between humans and us, and tolerance in as much as acceptance and empathy. Ultimately we're aiming to be able to integrate with humans. I'm tired of these rules that the school put up for us. I think we should be able to interact with them.

On a less serious note, I have to give you props for the mask allusion. Just don't let it get out that I have a youtube account since we're not actually supposed to have those.

Found that last bit to be quite amusing. Need to get sleep. will check in on this again after work tomorrow.

Information overload this weekend, ahhhh....

Walked upstairs to get something to eat, saw a letter addressed to me, opened it and then ran downstairs to register. I am now an Angel.

Also, just wondering what everyone else signed up as, so I can add everyone as friends on the board. I'm registered as Jotacon.

Attention Puppetmasters:

As much as I appreciate inclusion in this game and being sent correspondence, sending very authentic looking mail to my house stating that my son was accepted in to a school is not being well received by my wife. And my co-workers are having a very amusing time hearing me trying to do damage control.

Now I have no idea how I'm going to explain this one when I get home...

Thanks!

You mean you haven't had "The Talk" yet? Wink

On a side note I did a google search on Laudine. Turns out the name, like my own, comes from Arthurian Legend and roughly means a widow. Probably of little consequence but a nice little tidbit. There's more to the story of course, here's the wiki for a complete rundown:

Hey, I just got the letter today (which I don't remember signing up for this one, so it's a little odd... I coulda sworn I was just lurking!), but here I am... With no idea what's going on. How up-to-date is the wiki, if I feel like jumping on?

*Edit* In there as Iblees, btw... Felt like 'jelloarm' wasn't exactly a proper school forum nickname, so I took the literary route.

Man, if the rate we're getting new information and tasks now is permanent I don't know if I'll be able to follow this ARG. Think I'll just stay enrolled in the three classes and leave the extracurriculars to you guys.

Ooopsie. My bad. Must have glanced over that backpost. Well, I got signed up for yearbook and newspaper and am in the process of talking with Diego and Jan about SEALs at the moment. Will let you all know if anything comes of it.
