 		I thought scala might refer to Southern California Los Angeles so looked at today's Craigslist but seem to have struck out on that idea.

Through what else? A Quija Board
Didn't receive any e-mails, but I tried googling some of the strings of reoccuring text. Got a hit on Zozo, as apparently it's some spirit the author of this page was able to contact:

Mostly ancedotal evidence about the potential dangers of using Quija, and then I came across this post:

It struck me as odd, since this Zozo demon apparently is a guardian for limbo, keeping track of those not ready to ascend. I must e-mail Echo with this.

 		I second that on the nice research Kendra. Your second link says, "Zozo was definitely Reptoid, or in Christian dogma a demon whose name equals Abaddon: the Destroyer." Here's a bit more about Abaddon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abaddon (fellow LOST fans will appreciate this).

Some digging on 1111 turned up a couple of interesting things. According to some interpretations of the Mayan calendar, the world is supposed to end on Dec. 21, 2012 at 11:11. http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/2007-03-27-maya-2012_n.htm

Also interesting is this site: http://www.nvisible.com/1111/1111.html It caught my interest because one of the gates is by the pyramids, and we haven't yet determined the meaning of the sphinx image on the door.

This struck me as metamorphosis could be now viewed as a transition from the shadow to the mass as said here. We should look into Zozo being depicted as a woman and if there are any pre-existing photos for comparison.

It seems interesting... the homepage is now able to be looked at as Chaos, uncontrolled and then ///pupa/// could be reference to the transformation, metamorphosis is the becoming of the black mass...

Not certain, and don't want all my eggs in one basket, but... could it be an implication of an antagonist or some alternate higher power that looms over the rings where Echo and the like are?
