All I can think of is that there's an old myth that only on the equinox can you stand an egg on end (eggs hatch) because everything's in balance on those days.

sphinx and autumnal equinox? [total spec] Knowing that those wily Egyptians were smart and into astronomy I did a cursory search for info about the sphinx and autumnal equinox. After all, we can't forget about all of our other clues!

Nice working finding that walkingpaper. I wonder if the sphinx had meaning on its own or if it was only meant to point us to this phenomenon on the equinox?

Archeo/Anthropology research which attempts to explain the Sphinx and such things as the "large number of half-man half-lion amulets found from...before the Age of the Pharaohs" as evidence that the "ancient man-lion cult" were followers of Horus(the horizon).

Identical E-mails are Scary, but Cool And one more piece! I too got an identical e-mail from echo about rising and hatching. However, my subject line read: humming. So looks like we're gaining some speed. Wonder if rumble could mean earthquake and hatching could mean a birth too, if we're trying to deconstruct things a little.

amandel, thanks for sharing your research which was quite interesting. What called to me was the part on the second page that begins with "My conclusion then..." and later talks about the gateway to the afterlife:
