Guys…I just got a call around 7:20 pm EST. o_o Sorry I didn't post earlier, but I was doing club stuff and just got back. Here's the call:

"SAKI. HOW DID YOU RECEIVE THE VIDEO? WHO RELEASED THE VIDEO? YOU WILL EMAIL YOUR ANSWERS TO 1003SPLATIAMBLIND.ORG."

I guess they do know my name…That was seriously the creepiest thing I've ever heard in my life. Did anyone else get a call like this???

I'd say nothing...I feel like any type of response would betray Audrey...although, if I don't comply, would they infect me??

She did warn us that the moderator would likely try to find out who got the video. Evanly and Myopic were the ones to post about "finding" the video on YouTube - maybe they should send messages to the mod?


Edit: I don't see that you absolutely need to reply, and I don't think they'll infect you for not doing it - but the choice is yours. They knew you would pass the message on, so it's logical that the people who actually "found" the video would end up being the ones to respond to them. But you can also tell them the truth: you didn't find it, Evanly and Myopic found it floating around on YouTube, posted by who knows.
I don't think we can ignore the mod. But telling the truth is certainly not neccessary.

Absolutely. But I'm uncomfortable about putting this on the IG board - we have no idea what could happen if someone lets slip that the vid came from Audrey, or even that mrtoasty or ktn had direct contact with her/recieved information from a source other than the mod. They could be waiting for us to make a teeny weeny mistake

So yeah, no need to hurry with it. We'll talk it out with everyone first.

I'm all for protecting Audrey and the other Wardies. And though I don't think the post in itself is suspicious or revealing, it may be safer to remove specifics and direct the IG forum users to this thread.

After looking at the YT vid, even the high quality version is hard to see the code and very hard to see the 'gold ward' bit, so I added a new Rapidshare link to the video description to download the original quicktime.

thanks MrToasty, I wasn't able to even read the gold ward at the end (thanks to youtube's infamous quality-detection system, something akin to a group of apes clicking through new submissions to find good quality videos and apply necessary blurring effects to them. phoo.)

Me thinks someone needs to be the guinea pig of the first one infected. I dont mind doing that.
I have a hidden proxy.

I just think if someone is on the infected side perhaps we could get more/different/new info to solve this all.
