Here's a random thought; what if this isn't a terrorist attack, a hit on the president or some scientific bio-chemical meth lab gone bad kind of scenario. What if, hold on to your cheeks, it's a coordinated attack by blind people to make the world 'see' their side of everything. I have no idea whether this can make sense in any direction, but I guessI feel that if this is true I can see why the gold ward is gold(en). I dunno, just a thought. Also, if this were true, the blind would effectively become the most important in the world instead of the disregarded, neglected perceived niche they are today. The only people that seem to care about the blind are the blind themselves, their families, people who can make a buck out of it and friends of blind people. That's about it, there are very few people outside of those groups that actually give two ... blarghs about blind / deaf / terminally ill / etc. people.

Just an update on the pictures. I ran Camouflage, stegdetect, stegbreak and a few other applications to see if there were any images or other forms of steganography in the previously posted files. Came up empty. Only by adjusting the sensitivity of stegdetect to above 2.34 did it find something. And that doesn't mean anything because that's a pretty high sensitivity rating, that would probably find jphide traces in any picture you throw at it. So basically, nothing. Tried every algorithm I could find. I'll run it on the liberty statue picture, but I doubt I'll find anything. So much for that.

EDIT: SOMEBODY JUST RECEIVED SOMETHING IN THE MAIL, HE'S CALLED GRICKILY ON THE IAMBLIND FORUMS!

Let's just say that caution may very well be in place here. He did post pics, that's good.

NOTE: Bl is sometimes used in Catholicism to denote the prefix "Blessed", maybe that's something because the braille on the envelope says "I AM BL".

EDIT: looks like agentspunky got the package too, same stuff. Guess it's reliable. I wonder who else will get it now?

Even though agentspunky got the same package, I don't trust grickily. I mean, he JUST started posting and he got a package?? I checked his info and his profile was just registered today. It could be legit, but I don't think so...

Wow...agentspunky and grickily. So packages=infection. But the voice(mod?) was who sent us the packages, which means it was an intentional spreading of the infection...which they told us they wanted us to stop. I don't know about grickily, but does agentspunky have a proxy? I hope so, I'm eager to learn where the infected are being directed to.

I have a theory here...perhaps those two were "intentionally" brought into this (i.e. plants) to move the game along? It does seem a little quick to get packages if they were just shipped on Friday.

True. I'm definitely suspicious of grickily...it's possible that agentspunky was a plant...or at least that they contacted him/her separately to ensure they recieved the package and kept things going.

Unrelated news 3: Oh hun. I was at the ComiCon screeing...and forgive me for saying this but...I shook Joss Whedon's hand. While I was dressed as the Horrible doctor himself.

I haven't really posted anything on the IG forums.... and I think perhaps I should lay low on there if I'm going to be the one retrieving the drop....
