Nuts, here I come back after a hiatus, excited to find the game is still going! -- and then it's not. What a shame. It had such potential in the beginning...is this really...the end? /le sob

Because I'm not going to read through 50 plus pages, I'll make this short. I just got back home from work (4 weeks) and I have received in the mail a postcard from "I am Blind" and two pair of glasses and a return envelope. This is probably old news, but I'll post it just in case.

Well wtf?!
I never heard back from C3 all this time. I have no idea what we were supposed to do... nothing really made sense. What a waste of time.

Perhaps they accomplished what they set out to do. The group fairly quickly became suspicious of one another, especially of newcomers, showing how fast fear spreads. I think they planned that by sending out some shipments at different times. Some who seemed to get packages randomly or arrived via web links were confused upon arrival in the ward.
We tried to find a cure, assuming there was one, but learned that sometimes we are unable to do so in time to prevent the spread of an epidemic.
I think we were successful in creating threads to give newcomers the most important information to catch up, and we formed connections with one another to pass along information. But, as more people became infected and people were isolated, communication faltered, and we didn't hear from Audrey, which led to more confusion.
So the ending was not as elegant as it might have been, but that's not unlike life either. I enjoyed it.

I think they gave some of us moderator privileges too in hopes that we'd start putting a bunch of people on the possibly infected list, with or without reason, which could have led to more chaos. Seemingly none of us chose to do that though.

Excellent point MrToasty. Also, a good way to cause friction is for some to have privileges while others are subordinate, but no one expressed a negative reaction to those who were given moderator status.

Regardless of what we could have done differently, if their goal was to get people to see the movie they sure failed with me. In fact, with this ending I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to see it. All they did was waste a bunch of paper, on envelopes card stamps etc, and a bunch of time. Also, wtf were the return envelopes for? Obviously nothing. At least I can use the stamp to mail something now. So I guess I should say, THANKS FOR THE FREE STAMP!
