Welcome Guminudli. Your point about the current Canadian flag only being in use since '65 is well taken. Still, I think it's possible that the person who created this image didn't know that (I'm not ruling that out.). Here's a lightened image that may help someone identify it. It doesn't appear to be a either a flag of Monaco or any flag present or past of a US state.

Kinda interesting..HMS Ontario sank 10/31/1780 in Lake Ontario. It was a brig-sloop. They are bringing it up this Halloween. It kinda matches our ship...It's hard to tell, not many pics.

I am beginning to think that the "bird" in the picture is not a bird at all. I wonder if it is a wraith.

Yeah, the more I look at it the less it looks like a bird. I keep feeling like we are missing something. I'm gonna take a look at the old videos again. In the old thread it seems like they had the locations for page 3 and 6 figured out. I'm gonna go play with google earth and explore those spots..

Ti, it could well be a wraith (maybe songwraith's own signature?) but I'm not 100% convinced. Wraiths generally are considered to be spectral remains of people, and this image doesn't look in any way human. But, if one wanted to hide the truth, changing its form would make sense.

I agree we're missing things. I've been looking at the hearts vs heads video again and think there's writing on the lower-left side at the edge of the moving cloud.

While searching for Halloween themes, noticed that for an instant both video images merge into a compelling scene. Thought before I tossed it some might enjoy seeing it as imo it's quite beautiful . Smile

Thanks amandel. It is beautiful and the overlapping images could be suggesting that her spirit merged into that bird.

On first couple of viewings, I thought she was falling into the water. Now I wonder if she isn't already in it, and that what I thought was a bird on her finger is instead a fish. Eager to see where this is going next.

BadSmeagol, enjoyed your shipwreck research but am also unsure if it's the same vessel.

this is a long shot, as I'm not sure if we should use the map from last time and also because there's some weird logic here, but.

light blue is the triangle from last time, dark blue is the new one from the picture. phoenix = Phoenix, Arizona, motto = Toronto, Ontario (no other X's in Ontario) and ship = Columbus, Ohio (with the weird logic). the line goes through Detroit.

if this is not it, and the ship is in fact a specific ship, I'm out of ideas at this point. Dunno

Guminudli, you may be onto something. There was a brig Columbus that brought immigrants to the US and Canada from Europe.
