To me it seems like he's trying to keep us busy and that this is his way of drowning out the other voices just as he said he would. As long as we decipher his messages and answer his mails we are not looking ('hearing') for further clues to find the other spirits... Perhaps we should just ignore him and see what happens?

I decided to take Tres' advice and tone it down. I responded simply asking why he is here. If indeed he is trying to distract us, let him focus on me while you guys do your thing. Might be worth checking if anything has changed while I keep D. occupied.

 		Hey Guys, new member here, this stuff is great Very Happy

I did the morse code and got

"Will Kill Hahaha" and then i must of screwed up because I got

"DS Wig DS"

Edit 1 woops, looks like someone got it before me, and "Die pig die" makes more sense than my Ds Wig Ds lol oh well, still learning!

Edit 2 Do you think when he says drown out the voices to literally take the voices out of the audio? You can hear screams in the audio, I wonder if there is anything behind it? I'll give it a shot i guess...

I decided to take a lighter approach and sent "Why so serious." Can't wait to see what reply that'll bring -- it won't be pretty I know.

I think that's a referback to THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS from Lewis Caroll. There's a scene where Alice is trying to read a book, but it's in some "strange language." It's actually just backwards.

Not sure if it means anything. I did try to do jabberwocky.htm, but nothing at the moment. Either way- the monster in the poem is kinda creepy.

 		strategy for dealing with DISTORTION
i've emailed echo and told him my strategy is to ignore uncle d.

DISTORTION says "SCREAM IS TRUTH" while echo says "There is truth in silence."

that backwards words comment has my wheels turning but i haven't made any progress yet.

kendra must be right as the full title is....and What Alice Found There which was, of course, every oddity she'd never encountered. That uninvited D. msg was a combo of name callling(silly child Alice) and a warning to us all to be prepared IMO.

ETA: Sadly, just went to d/l "equinoxtransmission2.mp3" to play with in Audacity. Didn't bother as except for hearing Mona saying "Yes" her voice is now hypnotically drowned by Distortion's saccharine voice. So while we may be able to choose to ignore D. the "trapped spirits" wishing freedom might not have that same fortunate option. Sad

on Saturday
I received a phone call Saturday.
the message was "ignore the distortion i am the ghost."
So from this i am to not participate with communication with distorion and should wait for calls from "the ghost"
