Someone mentioned http://www.leiphe.net/lessons.html and http://www.leiphe.net/map.html already. But there is also http://www.leiphe.net/lessonslearned.html.

The tie to the "Always have lessons to learn" from the 1st paintover.net picture is too eerie to ignore.

The http://www.leiphe.net/images/lessons.jpg or http://www.leiphe.net/images/lessons.gif could be something? Maybe we need to de-steg or read them in some way.

Also, since the whole thing is about journals, I thought maybe she might have a journal of her own hidden somewhere in the domain? I tried obvious stuff like www.leiphe.net/journal but it didn't jump out right away.

I think so.
I tried to see a connection with :

maybe "always a lesson to learn" lead to the lesson.html on leiphe.net.
the lesson is about astrology -but where does astrology lead to?

and the other thing:
on wongmos site under retreats you can find this:

-Pixels on the Page: Beginning online journaling (hosted by special guest Fiona Leiphe, founder of Leiphe.net)

what means hosted by fiona leiphe?
maybe there is a directory or html on leiphe.net

This is not a clue:
Do you like knowing what's in store for you each day, or would you rather feel in control of your own destiny? [from here]

P.S. Sorry - just woke up, have to read through all the other stuff, but this one just screamed M1!!

I'm not sure why people aren't discussing Leiphe more at lentgh/separately; imo, there are some interesting things there:

:: What's her real name?
:: Why 144 pages in the journal (that's in the middle of the journey page)?
:: What's the deal with all the astrology on the "lessons" page?
:: And - my favorite - compare these:
Beth's "My life" at little-boxes: "I wonder, am I the spider making the web or am I the bug trapped in it."
Leiphe's 2nd sentence on the home page: "I'm so pleased you've chosen to visit my little piece of the web"

As the other thread got closed I'll move this here for your consideration..

OK, this sounds a little silly I think but any little hint. When I look at the word "Leiphe" I've decided that its pronounced "Leafy". This fits with the tree along the side of the page. Could this be a clue? It almost seems too inane to be one but maybe.

Well, I started my own discussion thread, but of course someone got to it before me. So I'll just copy what I did here.

- What is Fiona's real name? Her biography said when she ran from the abusive orphanage she changed her name.

- Is there something significant about the offline journal that is offered? I'm refering to the red leather binded, 144 page book you can purchase that allows you to make journal entries when you're away from the computer. 144... Why is this number significant? Well, if you remember in "The Fellowship of the Ring" Bilbo invited a total of 144 people (more showed up of course). Also Frodo's and Bilbo's age adds up to 144 (111 + 33). But this number didn't come from LOTR either. Tolkien (and maybe even leiphe) got the number from the Bible. It's in Revelations and refers to the 12 tribes of Israel (12*12). I'm not a Bible scholar, and Revelations is the book that is probably biggest in mystery. Someone else who knows more might like to comment.

- Is leiphe good or evil? Self help programs is a controversy right? Because what do they want: money. While that's not stated here, it might be possible they want something else: you. Certain subtle things can be a little scary if you read them like this: "No one will read your journal except you and I." Thanks I'll keep my diary to myself thank you. Maybe, leiphe is really a program to find those people who might be questioning what's real. The moment someone writes something like: "Today I saw two people fighting, both wearing sunglasses and quite a few times they seemed to defy gravity. It's made me question reality", you will get marked. They'll watch you to make sure nothing weird is going on.

Anyway that's my observations so far.

Well, I mentioned in another thread (perhaps it was the other Leiphe thread) that perhaps Leiphe is Beths mother!

Observe: In the Lessons Learned page, September 27th update lists the following as a question: "5. What would you buy if you were given $500 to spend" (or something along those lines). That was the day AFTER Beth was named Employee of the month and given a $500 reward.

So I think it's pretty obvious that Leiphe serves as Beth's advisor in SOME aspect... her mother being one option.

-----------------

Another thing that puzzles me: On Wongmo's site, Leiphe is listed as a future speaker. But the topic of her speech is "Pixels on the Page: Beginning online journaling". Does that strike anyone as "clue-ish"? I'm tempted to look for rogue pixels on Leiphe's (or Wongmo's) pages or graphics...

hmm..
i think first we must see the connection between fiona leiphe an the game.
her part?
"fiona leiphe" ist her artist name.whats her real name?
what happened to her in 1979?
why doesent she team up with wongmo?maybe she is missing?
i dont think she is beth.but the mother of beth.that could be...but what is the relation to the game?

I think you might be onto somthing with the journal Lotr thing niobexrev. After your post, i realized that the book that Bilbo, and eventually Frodo and Sam, chronolized their journies and stories was in the 'Little Red Book' or somthing to that effect. Also, if leiphe is indeed pronounced 'leafy', then i see more Tolkien parallels.

...interesting! Idea

I'll leave the LotR speculations to those more knowledgeable. As for the Bible, 144 relates to 12 in that both are used in connection to those who have been specifically chosen, and in the case of 144, redeemed. It's interesting to note that, in Apoc. 14.1, the Lamb and the 144,000 are on Mount Zion.

Connection to the Game !

I posted this ealier somewhere:
Quote:
I don't know if it's right, but I just got an idea:

Beth's e-mail is blmcconnellSPLATmetacortechs.com

That means sha has a middlename that starts with L.
When I just visited Leiphe.net I saw that Fiona Leiphe and Pete had 4 children from 1973 to 1979 ...

Maybe Beth is det daugther of Fiona Leiphe and Pete McConnell, and her middlename is Leiphe !

Another idea is tha Fiona is somehow related til Marcus Ormond, he also has an middlename that begins with L. Maybe she is his sister ... and could be a clue to his passwords - Leiphe, Fiona, etc.
