 		That was rather uneventful. I was actually expecting more...I mean what was the point in those bounced emails from Sukie? What was the point in the 'Traces of Hope' book and the broken products and services link on QuantumSat website?

I was expecting more...it was my first ARG....unless Notpron is classed as one.

I'd like to try a different one that has a little more involvement....any suggestions for a newbie?

I completely agree that this game was rather lame. Especially after all the hype about it. I mean, after reading the following:

"We've pulled out all the stops to create an experience where players will feel they are really interacting with Joseph's world – by communicating directly with Joseph, players find themselves caught up in a hunt across the internet to reunite him with his mother," said Dorothea Arndt, British Red Cross, New Media Manager.

I was expecting something a bit more involved and exciting!

Anyway, it would be nice to hear some recommendations for other (better) ARGs!

 		Hiya. I've just started playing. I have discovered Alans blog, flickr account, vimeo account and linkedin account. I have also uploaded the map of hopetown, and have found the satellite phone website. I cant find the information I have to give Joseph though! Any help?

Sometimes there is a video message from Joseph in the email Alertnet chat system that you have to watch before the game progresses...is there one for you to watch?

You only need to tell him things on the map when he asks for them. Generally you can only complete one task at a time and then the phone gets switched off. Then later, you'll get another email saying you got another message from Joseph.

Which information is Joseph asking for? To be honest, this forum now pretty much containsall the info you need to complete this game. It's just a matter of scanning through the other pages.

 		I've basiclly just started but I think he said that he needed more information about the phone. The Sukie person said to check the manufacturers website, which I have found, but it doesnt have any of the information he is looking for!

I've watched the one message I got. Guess it just takes a very long time between messages. I thought since it said 24 hours it would be faster. Ah well.

 		Guess you have to be special to play this game...
I guess only some people were "lucky" enough to get to play this game. I haven't received any more messages since I got the map working and by now I'm assuming I got dumped. Mad So stupid.

How can I use map overlay? Joseph asks me to use it but i can't cuz "incorrect overlay" comes always. What should I write to that field??
