So, from what I gather, we need to read the "Common Questions" page and figure out what letters or words are missing? I'm guessing it's going to be missing words and not letters....I'm looking at it right now to see if I can figure anything out (you guys are so smart, I know you'll figure it out before me!).

I checked the Common Questions and every letter is present.

I missed the clue to the lipogram, but I guessed it anyway due to weird wording choices and the predominance of JQXZ words. The message seems to be GOOGLE CHASTITY AND KARMACIST. Doing so ends up empty, though.

ETA: Whoops, no it doesn't. Googling at google.com ends up empty, but the so-called Google search on the main Passionix page works!

Main Passionix page also has a google search option at the bottom now.

... and here we have our mission...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
We need to help Kevin's dad (aka - karmacist) find the antidote for Passionix so his son can regain his passion for life back.

We also, perhaps, need to expose J. Janes for covering up the dangers of Passionix - maybe reporting him?

I missed it. How did you come up with "GOOGLE CHASTITY AND KARMACIST"??

I wondered why there were so many paragraphs! No, it's not missing words like I thought, but one missing letter from each paragraph.

ok.. I submitted the info to report the issue with Passionix. But that may not be what we need. It asks to report someone in an unchaste act which seems kind of obvious what we might be on the look out for.

I asked "Is there an antidote?" on the Common Questions page, and just got "Thank you for your question."

By the way, I can't quite read the Passionix label: "For the temporary relief of (???) in your children" -- can anyone make that out?

the html source names the question submission form with 'passionixmail' and 'submitmail', making me think it's a direct emailer, so it may not be waiting for a key phrase like the google submit.

Perhaps a common question may be added that will be an additional hint regarding the cure? *shrug*

Also, maybe we need to catch Janes' in soe form of 'unchaste' act... adultery perhaps? extra/pre-marital relations?
Someone his age though you'd think would be married, so it seems counter-intuitive to catch him being unchaste (never married?) unless it's more specific to 'sexual immorality' (eg adultery)... other kinds like rape or molestation or something seem a little extreme...
it may very well be someone else that needs to get caught. so, I think we're waiting for more clarification again.

Thessalonians 4:3-8

As referred to at the bottom of the video screen.

Quote:
3 It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body [a] in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

yeah, seems to focus more on the 'immorality' aspect... so, might need to catch him in some ... act. or at least, get proof of such an act.

I keep thinking there's something to the "Just because it fits, doesn't mean it goes there..." I think it's a clue - maybe to the dashed lines on the brochure? Maybe they don't work together - maybe there are things we'll need to print in the future that will "fit" into those pieces?

Oh, yeah, and it's a hilarious line!

I'm trailing these posts by about 10 mins -- I'd like to think that reflects my starting a bit later rather than a more serious issue. (Maybe we'll find out this weekend -- yayy Herald Hunt!)

I've now cut and folded the brochure lots of ways (also trying various Mad Magazine folds), but have not gotten anywhere yet. The big dotted lines (separate from the tabs and slots) seem like they should mean something, since otherwise they represent a design choice that is not quite in keeping with everything else. And, as others have probably noticed, the slot and tab lines cut off the I, 'T, N, and SH (the latter on the front) so accurately that it seems to be beyond chance. There are 2 ways to print page 2 on back of page 1, I've only tried one so far. (Perhaps meaningful text can be read underneath when tabs are opened, but not the way I've done it so far.)

Beyond that, which is not really new, I'll add that the answer to today's Inspiration is also the nickname of one of the members of the A-Team. So -- longshot call -- perhaps nicknames will come into play in the Inspirations this week.
