Rock on, The Sparr0w!

Jumping back to last week for a minute - did anyone ever send socks to that organization in Atlanta? I'm wondering if that's all that's keeping us from a Carmen thank you video, a pledge drive press release, and a Eli Richter "Former Members" move.

I sure did, Projectyl! I sent three pairs of thick, hot pink woolen socks I... errr... just happened to have lying around...

EDIT: Damnit, they weren't sent, I asked my mum to take them into town to the mailbox three days ago and she forgot, but I'll send them tomorrow when I head in after school. It doesn't matter if it's too late, we actually -are- doing good.

Don't worry, I don't think there's such a thing as "too late" in this game. It took us, what, nearly two weeks to crack the Passionix antidote? Smile

Today's DI:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The only element you can make by starting with "odium theologicum" and dropping some letters is HELIUM. (At least, I suspect it's the only one; I haven't checked very thoroughly.)

There are two other possible solutions:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Holmium and Thulium

And FractalP makes five!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
lithium and gold!

Bet you I've got an error.
I should note that Helium is the only word which only takes its letters from one of the DI words (theologium).

EDIT: Hmm, I would place my bet on Helium.

FWIW, Gareth has friended me (I suspect it may be because I included the word "Jade" as a personal message in my friend request), and I've uploaded Mochi's lovely photo of a low-cost Lord shackle. We'll see where this leads.

I'd tend to go with Helium as well

1) All the letters are in theologicum, allowing us to ignore hatred in our answer (and we already used all the letters in ODIUM as part of yesterday's answer)
2) The letters are in order. tHEoLogIcUM The DI doesn't say eschew some characters & rearrange the rest (as you'd have to do to get gold or thulium), simply to eschew some characters.

Periodic Table

You are all talking about the periodic table. I am not up on all that is going on, but the book art on the web site looks like the periodic table and is color coded.

Just trying to help.

Book art? You wouldn't happen to mean Jesus Wants to Save Christians?
Anyways, I think we can safely say todays is Helium. I think we should try and figure out the one from two days ago. The only one so far that incorporates the 'six days of rest' is Molybdenum, so I'd have a guess at that.

Aurora

So, Similarly for me, Blayne accepted my friend request (second time lucky) because I used the name "Aurora Jade" in my message.

Turns out though, that his wife's name is Aurora. His facebook status from today:

Quote:
Gareth is praying for understanding and strength. Love you, Aurora.

And he obviously likes the 'low cost bracelet post on his wall', has replied "very well done." to Jenny Gutbezahl's posted photo. I'm guessing Jenny is one of you guys.

Well done I say! Although, what next?
(I'll just say.. you guys are freaking awesome - and so clever! Keep at it)

New DI is up:
Quote:
And Joseph rode west to his
city, and he came to rest in
this arid valley.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe this is referring to the position of the elements, and 'riding' west along the row from our last element, Helium, gives us Hydrogen, which I guess you could call 'arid', cos it is all alone up there.

Also, anyone notice the person holding the card in Savannah's photos is a guy? Razz
His wife died a year ago. So, is she writing on his Facebook wall from the Other Side?! Or else Aurora is a daughter or someone new in his life... OR... is he delusional or 'channeling' her spirit?! Creepy... and likely to lead to being disavowed by the CoV (they don't seem to be especially into forgiveness or healing for those who transgress).

I think I like this better for the DI:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Joseph's city in the west is San Jose, which is nicknamed "The Capital of SILICON Valley."

@Rich:The "Love you, Aurora" part is probably meant to be read with an implied "I" in front of it.

Do we know for sure that we took down Eli? I know Projectyl submitted the information (on the main page I'm guessing, which is where everyone else has been reported) but Eli is still listed as a COV member. Maybe it just takes a while to update, or maybe there's something else we have to do?

Savannah is not pleased with the low cost shackles

Savannah Merks wrote on Gareth's wall expressing her displeasure with our recent pictures
Quote:
:

Gareth, why are you encouraging these people who are making these cheap imitations of your own blessed work? I know you are grieving, and this is a hard time for you, but you need to remember what's important here!
