Test 6 - Specialized Departmental Evaluation Well test six is up. My questions mainly geared towards psycholgy, but who knows if others will be as well. Would be neat if previous groupings had an effect on what type of test you get considering this is supposed to really narrow down what our role in the DI will be.
Anyway, took the test, no cheat, and I'm in Apollo.
Edit: Figured out the cheat from the strange voices thread:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you hit C on your keyboard as you right click, you will see a Black Swan option in the normal right click window. Clicking on it will cause the correct answer to flash. This can be done on every question. Go cheaters go!
Also, just in case nobody has noticed, you can't take test 6 unless you're logged in. As far as I know, this is the first test to do this. That is what leads me to believe that our progress thus far could dictate what type of questions we recieve for this test.

Well, went through the test with the cheat (wasn't going to ultra-fast anyway, still want to at least skim the question =P) and got 27 seconds, 10/10. Group: Apollo

Hmmmm, took me over a minute or so, and I'm pretty sure I missed a couple. Really makes me wonder how they come up with these groups.....

1:16 with the cheat except the first question, got Demeter
They are definitely using the main gods of Greek mythology, can't think of the exact term for them right now.
Anyway, I looked at all the questions and they seemed to be all questions I knew anyway. Maybe the initial evaluation had more to do with our psychology than we thought.

Funny you say that because my questions also seemed to be tailored to my area of expertise (I work in psychiatry). The only problem was that they were too simple, like psych 101 stuff that I dumped years ago, haha.

test 6 I used the cheat, got group Demeter. My questions were mostly pop culture questions like what does AOL stand for, what was the first cell phone with iTunes, etc. Definitely fits me!

I got some interestingly varied questions, mostly fairly easy as well. Got one about what tracfone makes, got one about what a grouping of words are in a language ("lexicon" BTW).
My group assignment wound up being Demeter, cheated all the way, even on the ones I knew(got to keep up appearances, you know) , and it took me 56 seconds.
Also, for those of you not really looking at the recruit generated tests any more, I have one that no one has taken so far. It is one on Norse myth, and here is the link for anybody who would like to take it, as well as one that, in my opinion, is the most Dharma-like of any I have done. Thanks to anyone who takes them!

Like Nicole, I got general trivia questions, too, and was placed in Demeter. I didn't use the cheat. I think I got two wrong but will have to check.

40 sec. (or so, I forgot to look)
I cheated to slow time down, but not to get the answers. I think I got at 50% or so.
Ares.
Ok, but heres the weird thing....My questions were all building, architectural, engineering related. I am not an engineer, but had two conversations just today about how I should have gone into a math & science field, specifically engineering. kind of freaked me out to read the test questions...
***Edit, I got at least 8 right. YEAH! also, I think they are all pretty easy, logical questions to figure out without even looking up. General knowledge, yet asked to us in topical groupings.

Ok, so I'm getting the heebie-jeebies. My questions were communication and language oriented. I had TWO questions that had to do with Apple products (see my BYTE THE APPLE test). I could not cheat. There was no "black swan" or any other kind of swan choice when I used CTRL-C on my iMac (by the way guys, found out the double finger thing is only Macbooks or later).
So yeah, first question each and every time I took it was about the "father of" some kind of communication and/or space....but different question each time. Second question would start off the technology questions, then in the middle I would get language oriented questions, then the Apple stuff. It really was easy-peasy stuff.
THANK YOU DHARMA GODS FOR NOT GIVING ME MATH QUESTIONS! You'd think I would have proved to them by now I suck at it.
Now, here's my order....anyone else have the same groups?
Pandora
Polyphemus
Tityos
Helios
Chronos
Demeter

Mine were all modern architecture and science with one exception: the location of the "Tacoma Bridge" (Washigton?).
Landed in Ares, will be recruited as a Dharma Roofing Shingler and prolly won't bother with the "cheat" this time.

yes, that would be them. I get up at 6:30 in the morning but can't normally get to bed until one, but for a few hours I can't recall anything from my memory unless it is sitting on the screen staring at me. So that is the thing. My test had alot to do with technology and language. My first question was to translate a phrase from Latin to English. I also got the tracfone one and an apple one.

Mine were an odd mix. Pop culture? I got the AOL question but I also got a photography question and on about language and one about wifi.
In Demeter.
(ETA: According to Wiki Demeter is the mother of Persephone.....interesting)
Used the cheat on a few.
EDIT: took it again and got a lot of techincal questions about cell phones/communications. Not my expertise.
