Questions for the PMs?
I'm going out on a limb here...

So, uh, the game's over. Since we haven't heard anything about a PM chat, I thought maybe if we listed some questions for the PMs they might answer us in a formal (or informal) setting. I've got questions, at least. So I'll get them off my chest:

1. What did we miss? [The standard post-game question.] I guess here there are two versions of that, though:
a) Stuff we missed due to the choices we made: What was Danby's Horrible Secret? Did he shoot his brother during a marksmanship contest on a frozen lake and have to pay a loan shark lots of money to hide the body from his violent father?
b) Stuff we missed because we were dumb: Any sekrit documents we didn't find?

2. Mechanics: How much video was shot that we never saw? It seemed like it was sort of designed so that videos could be inserted wherever.

3. How predictable were we? I hope y'all had a betting pool on who we were going to choose to survive. And I hope the odds were something like even money that we'd have Danby survive to the end. I don't feel like there were any surprises. Did you?

4. No credits? It would have gone a long way to saying "hey, it's over."

That's all I can think of for now. Anyone else?

Yeah, no ninja is going to answer you on this due to the game not being over. I have discussed this with the PMs and they say to be patient and that there will be new content further on in the time line...

I wrote about 3 weeks ago a PM to J Stevenson (Insomniac) asking if the ARG was over. In my PM I said something like "I asume that if it's not over, you can't say anything, while if it's over, you are allowed to say at least "Yes, it's over", so if you do not reply to this PM and ignore it... I will keep my hope, but please if it is over let me know, because I am spending loads of money using my phone to access internet to check updates in my lunch break" Lol
He didn't reply... although he could ignore my message for other reasons lol
I think they might have something prepared for around the time the public beta is launched (second week of October or so). Something to start in the previous weeks and link the timeline in the ARG with the timeline in the game.
I think they probably messed up a little bit with the timelines / start of the Beta. Originally, the Beta was scheduled for September, and then they moved it to October, maybe when the ARG had already started. I think they were planning a silence of about 2 weeks, and they had to prolongue it because of the betas.
The private Beta gave great feedback to Insomniac, and they maybe wanted to change loads of stuff before release, so they have moved the Public Beta to October. As far as I know, in the Public Beta most of the game is polished and finished, they will just test things they can change with a pacth for day one release. So they will test damage, stats, servers, etc.
I think that they planned this as follows:
1. Starts ARG
2. Starts Private Beta
3. Stop ARG for a couple of weeks, while fixing the issues found with the Beta.
4. Finish the Private Beta period.
5. Re-start ARG
6. Launch Public Beta.
7. Launch game

I think that they got stuck in the point 3, fixing things. Now they have finished the Private Beta, but there's no date for the Public Beta, we only know "early October". It was suggested October the 6th, but I received an email from GameStop saying that it will be delayed a little bit, although they will still start in early October. I think IG don't want 42E to go on with the ARG and finish it,because they want to involve more people for the Public Beta and Game Launch.
But this is only my guess... no proof behind my thoughts lol

EDIT: I sent a PM to an IG guy... reply: be patient and wait.
Very Happy
