I have G4...and I also have The Host on tape. I can watch the host all day, and then watch it on TV when it airs on G4. A full day of The Host...perhaps topped off by another viewing of Cloverfield.

Actually, here's how I wanna spend Hallowe'en:

6:00-7:40 -- watch Dog Soldiers
7:40-8:00 -- take a handful of Valium
8:00-9:30 -- watch Plan 9 From Outer Space
9:30-10:00 -- eat candy
10:00-12:15 -- watch Rosemary's Baby
12:15-12:30 -- eat candy
12:30-2:00 -- watch Ringu
2:00-3:30 -- watch Cannibal Holocaust
3:30-5:00 -- watch Dead Alive
5:00-5:30 -- eat candy
5:30-7:00 -- watch Irreversible
7:00-8:30 -- watch August Underground's Mordum
8:30-9:00 -- eat candy, and beat up any kids who try to come steel it
9:00-11:30 -- watch The Host
11:30-12:00 -- eat candy
12:00-1:15 -- watch Cloverfield and eat candy at the same time
1:15-Monday -- throw up

I really hope that

"6:00-7:40 -- watch Dog Soldiers "

is not Sci-fi's movie Dog Soldiers, because thats just horrible...

Is there another? Dog Soldiers is, imho, one of the best horror movies ever, coming in 3rd only to Dead Alive/Braindead, which has made me vow to never eat custard...ever ("What? No pudding?"), and Rosemary's Baby, which I have a profound respect for due to it being the only movie to have ever succeeded in giving me nightmares.

Dog Soldiers is quite watchable!

It is one of those movies that changes tones midway, not as profoundly as say Dusk till Dawn, but still.

Dog Soldiers is a "modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood"...where the wolf is a pack of bloodthirsty werewolves and the girl is a bunch of army guys on a training mission.

"My guts are out!"
"That's a'right, we'll just put 'em back in."
"They won't fit!"
"They've gotta fucking fit, they were in there before."

Priceless.
