Poems about the Jejune Institute? Well, um... okay...

Because I am insatiably, stupidly curious -- and free that evening -- I'ma go to this.

also I thought one of their demands was the ending of food sales....WHY WAS COMMANDER 14 GETTING DEL TACO!?!?!?!?!?!

Haha! What I think he meant was restrictions on "unauthorized" food sales. E.g., Virginia the Tamale Lady, the Adobo Hobo, and the Magic Curry Cart.

On the other hand, this is all assuming that the EPWA makes sense 100% of the time, and that I know what the hell I'm talking about. Dubious claims, both.

Hello I am new and just wanted to say hello. I finished act I last weekend with a friend and will be going back this weekend so that my Girlfriend can get up to speed and then we will all be doing Act II and maybe Act III.

Also one question, is the event happening tonight at the book store IG or OOG?

Hey Nemm!

Glad you are getting interested into the realm of Nonchalance Wink

The event tonight is "Out of Game" in the regards that the producers did not set it up themselves. HOWEVER, this is most definitely part of the "experience."

Though it might not pertain to the narrative at hand, it is "In game" because it further promotes the experience... furthering your 'comfort zone' if you will.

Unfortunately I cannot make it tonight... so make sure to tell me how it goes!

This is something I am going to miss on account I have a class.

Those who attend, please, tell me about it.

Oh one last thing for now.. I went out one of the entrances from my work and what do I find on the telephone pole? None other than a Time Camera flier.

It wasn't so much a poem as it was a narrative with a key conflict involving Jejune Institute and related characters.

A sort of fanfic, if you will.

Payoff.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The funny thing about this construct is that plays with your head, over and over. "Aquatic Thought Foundation"? Hahahah, what a crazy thing! This stuff is so good! It's like candy! It's ...

What

HAHAHAHAAH

Well, it was new to me. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere here. And it was supposed to be real, or "real enough," if you follow me. I have not said anything legally actionable at this point. Not sure why you would leave such a website up for 10+ years ... maybe they didn't pay their ISP bill. They also own 2012.com, read about that: http://survive2012.com/news/2007/01/2012com-who-owns-it.html. It's like Jejune Institute Jr.

It's raining in Guyana
and I want to go home.

I find the Further Dispatches from Elsewhere quite interesting.

They're very carefully worded.

Again, there are heavy hints of there being a serious disconnect between C14 and EPWA.

Followers of Franco had no problem shouting contradictions like Viva la muerte. They placed themselves above logic.

This is a simulation of belief and how fear and hope can shape it and make us cling to things that we would normally know to be false.

This is a Jonestown simulation.

Would you kill for nonchalance?

When there's war, innocent lives are lost. There's no avoiding it. What a nice, portable excuse.

Would you kill for nonchalance?

It's an absurd question but a central one because there are those among us who would.

The Jejune Institute/EPWA is absolutely brilliant and the Further Dispatches are chilling.

I would 100% kill Kill KILL for nonchalance. I would kill nonchalance for nonchalance, just like I would kill the Buddha if I met him on BART. So watch out, Fatty!
