Very Happy

Haha In dont think the PM even realises he did that. Don't think it's a "clue" or anything Wink

New idea for the future:
a possible use for the cards

What if the cards were not just used to communicate information to us, but also to the EPWA or whoever runs 3LS3WH3R3? Perhaps a future mechanic is to communicate with them through the cards? perhaps they have asked us to make profiles to keep tabs on us?

And what if the person who runs 3LS3WH3R3 is Eva?

Well, due to the fact that some people are confused why nothing is happening:

When the EPWA website was started, we found out via looking in some backdoor code that there was a secret menu that stated "Spring 2009"

The backdoor code is gone now, but we should be seeing stuff soon. Not sure why there is a wait right now... I'm guessing we might be seeing another office in the next act. (Turns out the game is being separated into "acts" Because this should be going on for a while)

I guess the best bet now is to scour the EPWA website even more, especially &_invent (the code we found on the back of the Vital-orbit human forcefield blueprints.

I'll check it out tomorrow.

OH WOW GUYS. We REALLY should be checking out EPWA more often.

There is now a new option for &_radio.

It turns out EPWA has a radio station 107.9 and you can tune into it at Delores park, or if you dont have a radio check out 3614 18th street @ Guerrero, you can borrow one there. I think I might just head over to the city today and check this out!

Also: I think we have to check out the &_invent again. There might be clues. If I go to Dolores Park today, I'll check out the Mission Branch library and see if any more notes were left in the Cyclopedia.

107.9

so...liz and i went back to 580 california this morning and got ourselves in the "Sapelle Mahogany" elevator, which was covered in pads for moving. after lifting up the pads, we found a sign directing us to 107.9 "Beware False Jejunery, become attuned 107.9 FM Upper Dolores Park Area". Just fyi.

Annie's Diner?

So,in reading over the &_invent again last night I came across the references to Annie's Diner on 16th and a Salvadorean Restaurant on 17th. Of course the references were 20 years old, but do any such places still exist?

Also noted the dates they were meeting could be narrowed down to actual dates. July 25, 1989 is when the conversation took place, which was a Monday. The previous Tuesday when they were supposed to meet was the 19th, with Wednesday and Thursday, also mentioned, being the 20th and 21st.

Are any of these dates significant in any other ways?

IMO, they are not really significant, just a way to make it seem more realistic. And looking back at the text C14 sent us, I think he was hinting towards the "sapelle mohogany" and the fact 107.9 clue is under the plastic bags in the elevator.

So today I went to the park and listened to C14's radio broadcast. AWESOME STUFF! Unfortunately though, I was not able to listen to all of it because one of my friends was with me so I had to take off early, but I think I got alot of the info. Hate to say it though, but I really shouldn't tell you everything that C14 said, due to the fact it may spoil a lot of stuff, I mean the point of this is to go out and see the city yourself. Let's just say it answers some questions about Nonchalance and who Octavio really is. (If you cannot make it to SF because you are out-of-state, drop me a line and I'll fill you in)

However, I really think you guys should go and check it out for yourself! It's really an awesome experience. Also, if you do anything, make sure you listen to C14 and purchase "The Sound of Ascension" CD. It's put out by EPWA and it is important for all followers of this experience to have. C14 tells you where to get it in the broadcast.

Good luck and have fun!

Does anybody know where the coins are, or do we simply need to wait for them to plant them?

Want Some Coins!

Yeah, we checked that. &_coin on the epwa says:

Quote:
Recently, a number of our field operatives have gone missing for unknown reasons. We are attempting to loacate them and to enlis new ops. for hobo coin distribution and Nonchance Promulgation. Please check back here for further information in the near future.

Frustrated because Monotony and I and Anna One all visited several sites mentioned on the radio feed, but were thwarted by our lack of hobo coinage (that and the fact that a certain dental item had not yet been delivered to the shop).

There was only one person on the streets that we saw who might have been the type who they'd ask to distribute the coine.... a certain half bearded gentleman showing his own 'TV' program... but he made us all squirm so much we chose to move on.

Has anyone been able to obtain coinage? Or are we just ahead of the game a little?
