'Till the poets run out

Just did the reconstruction this evening on my own, though I'm wishing for more of a reward at the end, here. You can get a WiFi signal at the bench, which was pretty fun watching a couple of the videos there. Wondering what will be next.

yeah i too was hoping for something about as long as Act 2. this one has an Act 1 feel to it almost. maybe there'll be another segment to it? if the very last task oyu have to do is any indication i think once enough people complete it we'll get the next step...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
i wasn't sure what to write in the email so i just kinda slapped something cryptic in there

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the last audio recording of Neil has him repeating 'what you do not see is wings...' this sounds like the beginning of one of Dr. Hewitt's post cards. since the one you get in act 1 is 3/4, and this newest one is 4/4, i'm wondering where 1 and 2 are and if they might help explain what Neil is saying...

I wasn't sure either. Hope we didn't miss something there.

Going to the Eva walk today. I hate ascending (literally, I hate walking upwards). OH it will be fun!

Did the reconstruction with mah homies (yes a banana suit was implemented shortly). Running around, popping out of bushes and telling tourists to be on the watch for Eva (as we are agents for the epwa). We have collected our information and are on the track for further inquisition as to her where abouts and how to dance with a more fully functional beat. Shoes are laced and internets are being sent.

Reconstruction Project

Is it too soon to start posting pictures from the Reconstruction Project? I'd like to see if anyone caught anything I didn't, or vice versa.

Also, doing the project with an iPhone is a good idea.

FYI: while Alexia and I were at the site, several young (under 12 year old) tourists were finding some artifacts before we could. So if you get stuck, pretend you're small and that might help you.

Reconstruction Trail photos
photos of views along the Reconstruction trail

Just a few out of game comments

What a wonderful experience as a tourist.
There were some wonderful views of the Bay and it was great exploring parts of San Francisco whether familiar or not.

I only have a camera on my mobile so the photos are good but not great for the distance panoramic views.

For those who ventured on the Reconstruction trail, did you take along a regular true video camera or digital camera?
Did you take some panoramic shots or video clips of the scenic views?
I'd love to have some and share what I have.

-- Not of the clues, those photos are clear.
I mean photos of the Bay and city.

By the way, is that Castle a restaurant and is it still in operation?

Warning: If you are a guy who still has yet to experience the Reconstruction, then do not take pictures of the gate during school hours, lest you may be thought of being some pervert.
"I swear, Officer, I was just taking pictures of a clue for a game -- not of the children."
For those you have been there, you will know what I mean. My friend and I made a joke about this recent Sunday.

Julius's Castle was a restaurant but it looks like they've closed shop. it's a shame too cause the food was pretty good but the view from that place was fantastic.

Julius' Castle has been closed for over a year now. I believe there was a legal dispute with the landlord that got pretty nasty.

FYI -- the "subscribe" link on rememberingeva.com is now fixed.

Out of the loop

Hey all, I only pop in here every couple months, but I am looking forward to reading about what I missed, particularly the dream reporting event for which I was out of town.

I just did Coit today, and I was really hoping for some quick followup to the meetme email (I don't think that gives anything away to those who haven't climbed), but it sounds like nobody has heard back yet, huh?

Stay Nonchalant San Francisco,

Quinn
