Cross Section?
Diagrams of theories...

I think the mechanism functions a little like this...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

In the rings of hell, the cross section may look like this:

Shaft runs down the left
Square Pyramid Piece........./ Up here>>>>>Down here |\
Ring of Hell.......................||_______||Wall||__________||

When the square pyramid piece's tunnel lines up, I think it lines up above the relevant ring inside the operation...then in the outer portion of the ring there is a hole that drops down somewhere else along the ring...can anyone confirm/deny this theory?

Can anyone confirm or deny the above cross-section?

i recomend that since its open, to take the key out a leave the key chamber in.

Then twist the 4 upper levels until they lock with the placenta in the front or the back. then, resolve.

In a word: "No."

Power tools.

But I mean honestly... it would be dumb of one to even consider it.

there are ways to 'cheat,' but for the most part you actually have to solve the first half of this puzzle.

Have you solved the hints yet?

I purchased a Ramisis when they were first released... and I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. But I have a few questions.

Should I be worried that my battery is going to be dead before I can get to the point where I need it to light up?

Also, the top two segments of my Ramisis seem to be linked (move together) - is this normal?

Thanks for any help.

-SF.

Ramisis Q's

...no, dead batteries won't stop you from solving the Ramisis - it's a mechanical puzzle that had a little gizmo added that flashed something in Morse as an additional little puzzlet - mine didn't flash from day one - I wouldn't worry about it...

...top two segments joined...think that's normal..

Enjoy the puzzle and let us know what you thought of it...

No solutions?

It's been a long time since this "puzzle" was released...

Videos, blogs, and the like, featuring the solution to the Isis and the Copernisis are widely available. But not the Ramisis... Why?

I opened the key-chamber a while back by randomly twisting and rolling the pyramid out of frustration. Unfortunately I foolishly closed it without removing the key. (For some reason I thought that it could be immediately reopened)

My problem now is that I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.. Is the "puzzle" completely reset? Is there a new goal I'm supposed to work towards? CAN the "puzzle" be reset? Is the "puzzle" completely useless?

I've poured over this thread many times now, and have been unable to piece together anything useful due to the fact that a lot of this information is misguided, too vague, edited/deleted, or outright bunk.

My only mission now is to get it open, and take it apart. I understand that I could do this in a number of unorthodox ways, but I really don't wish to destroy or deface it in any way as it's quite pretty, and I paid a hefty sum for it.

Truth be told; I don't care about the Isis-Adventure(tm) and I do not plan to purchase another one of these. I don't care about any puzzler's-pride, and I just want to open it, take it apart, and see how it works... I'm no longer interested in solving it on my own.

Most of all, I'm tired of everyone's over-zealous and misplaced loyalty to SW, and their guarding-the-secret-to-the-death attitude regarding this stupid pyramid.

Can anyone give me a straight-forward, step-by-step solution to this thing?

-Thank you very much in advance, and I eagerly await any feedback,
Spyder
