If I had access to the terminal here's how I'd do it:
The first clue was the shipping receipt
Second clue was the satnav
Third clue was from Vaughn

I may have a go on Monday afternoon with those.

What was the consensus on the shipping receipt though? What was the answer to that clue?

Also by Vaughn, do you mean the hacker 'A' email?

edit: F for Foxtrot?

So, F7A...

hydogen clue

The photos are all about hydrogen which has an atomic number of 1 (therefore is 1 on the periodic table).

Interesting facts which may be relevant: the structure of hydrogen was discovered by Bohr who was a founder of QUANTUM mechanics and worked on the Manhattan Project which, as well as many other things, produced the first nuclear weapon...

@ stazi

You might want to check for the camera when you are there, but I suspect that you will be seeing the hydrogen photos again ... the 'backups' were posted on his facebook. We're still ahead of the game!

So I guess, you might want to add 'H' as the 4th piece of the code

That is correct Wink

I was looking through every single camera on display (about 500+ photos) and then a store attendant comes up to me with the camera and shows me the pics :p Wasted about half an hour before that point. H works.

Now, how do we stay ahead of the game for the next three clues. I really do suspect the dogs will have something to do with it.

Yeah, when it's at this sort of level, and the answers are so obvious, they might throw in an equalizer at the end where they say that the order is jumbled or something ... giving us a 1 in 5000 chance of getting it right first go. When you were at the terminal, did it seem to matter what order you entered the code in? I'm thinking of 'Mastermind' here where it just tells you if you have the required elements, but wrong order.

Trailer says that next time we see her she will be tied to a chair, but somehow manage an escape.

Well, if they stay true to form of giving away the clues out of order, I'd have to agree. Looking at the URLs of the pictures, there seems to be one missing in the order (http://www.transnationalexports.com/Secure/photos2798.aspx - sequence jumps from 2797 - 2799), however that leads nowhere (for now??)

well, the A is definitely 3rd, as that's what the transnational exports email says: "the third part"

although, who knows. it could well be some random number thing which makes it a game of luck, not skill

also to the guy above me, good pick up on the photo numbering.

Nothing for Dimitri Strangl

Blofeld looks to be the father of Dr Evil.

It's not Dimitri Strangl, but rather Dimitri Stangl and he's "Digital Artworker". There's his web site http://www.octavum.com/

ok, the next clue seems quite common sense (dogs confirmed as something important by the website update), and we've gotten on the right track a long time before the next hint, or even video was revealed. perhaps we could preempt the last two parts of the code, too.

The quote is Julius Caesar Act 3 Scene 1, a soliloquy by Mark Antony after Caesars death which occurred on the Ides of March (15th).

Translation from Sparknotes:
People's capacity for sympathy will grow tired and weak from the sheer quantity of cruel deeds. And Caesar's ghost, searching for revenge with the goddess Ate by his side, just up from Hell, will cry in the voice of a king, "Havoc!" and unleash the dogs of war. This foul deed will stink up to the sky with men's corpses, which will beg to be buried.

"Send the music" ???
Ahh, got it!

The thrill is in the chase.

Maybe later, after more people have had a go at it first.
