 		NOT Good News!
NBC has pulled the plug on freshman tentpole drama "My Own Worst Enemy" and returning sophomore series "Lipstick Jungle," sources said Wednesday.

The cancellations come after both shows dropped to new ratings lows in recent weeks, with the Christian Slater action series sinking to a 1.8 among adults 18-49 (4.3 million viewers) on Monday and "Jungle" falling to a 1.2 (3.3 million viewers) on Friday.

Although the "Jungle" number was an improvement on the previous week, the show's ratings have been below the line for a while and sunk into the red zone after being moved to Fridays.

NBC's expectation for the return of "Jungle" was modest, but "Enemy" was considered an important show. A spy thriller with a grown-up budget inspired by the "Bourne" movies, "Enemy" received NBC's coveted post-"Heroes" time period. That valuable Monday hour of scheduling real estate has become less worthwhile in recent weeks, however, as "Heroes" shed viewers -- weakening the lead-in for "Enemy" and hastening its decline.

No word whether Monday's episode will be yanked from the schedule, if the show will solider on for a few more weeks or what program will take its place. "Enemy" is now shooting its ninth -- and final -- episode. "Lipstick" has shot all 13 of its initial order.

Both are produced by Universal Media Studios; NBC had no comment.

 		That is a shame. Admittedly, I think it suffered from several issues, including a massive pacing problem in that they broke Edward/Henry too soon to get a real feel for either of the characters and their individual personalities, and emotionally invest the viewers in the show.

They also decided to bring on some shtick-y elements that were getting kinda ridiculous(namely the "Every time I make love to my wife, I'm not me", and the "Let's use our cell phone to communicate to each other" craziness).

Add to that the scene where Henry and Angie Spivey find out that their son has taken to performing martial arts that are, well---brutal, to say the least, and all Angie does is vapidly mutter "That's amazing!" when they start beating each other up, and that was when I started really questioning the credibility of the current writers for the show.

All that said however, I think it could have gotten better over time, and was looking forward to seeing where it was going, and think it should have been given a chance to gain a following. Crying or Very sad

 		At least they're still filming the 9th episode, even knowing that the show is going to be canceled. So I guess we can hope that they do some rewrites to give some semblance of closing.

Bah, and I'm sure that the game isn't going anywhere either (why advertise for a show that's going off the air?).

 		Psych Test Update
I took the "Psych Evaluation" and entered my Blue Level passcode.

It redirected me to the AJ SUN website, before taking me to Janus. There it had some dossiers for Henry & Angie Spivey, as well as a "Sarah Rogers" (presumably seen in this week's MOWE).

All the other interface points don't lead anywhere, although it's possible should the series continue, that these will become available.

Has anyone had any different experiences?

 		Doesn't seem to matter how you answer the psych questions either - for instance, choosing "Interrogation" over "Meeting" Very Happy I took it twice, once taking the "lighter" choices, and the second time taking the harsher ones (Yes, I *do* like the grenade more than the red stapler - it's not a Swingline Very Happy)... yet both times, entering my code brought me to the same website, and only the 3 dossiers.

ETA 2: Of note is that he received his marksmanship badge in AIT. You receive your marksmanship badge during boot camp. Or at least I did, but I got a sharpshooter badge.

ETA 3: 102 pushups/minute is ridiculous. I maxed out at 42 and I was exhausted. Then again, that was 15 years ago. I can probably do 6 now.

 		Its sad that the show is being canceled, through i see why lol, i don't like that show, it started to bore me, but the viral is better than the show itself, sad to see viral go
