 		[TRAILHEAD?] Candy package
I got a really weird package in the mail today. It was a small, packed envelope. It was addressed to both my real-life first name and thunderclap8. It contained only an assorted bag of Hershey's mini candy bars. But the bag had been opened, and was now full of nothing but 22 mini Krackel bars. It was re-sealed with scotch tape. Krackels have always been my favorite of the Hershey's mini candy bars, so that was a little freaky.

There's a partial stamped return address, like the stamp didn't hit right, and you can't make it all out. But I think it says:

address elided

(I got the zip code from the postmark)

It was mailed on 10/10.

Googling around a bit it lead me to someone named [elided] at that address. He's an assistant professor at [some school in some state]. I've never met him, and have never heard of the school.

Now, before I lay all the blame on him, I want to point out that there could very well be a missing number from the address stamp. Especially since other parts are so unreadable. What I mean: It could read Xsomenumber, with X being anything. I have no idea.

So, any idea where to go with this? I've opened a few of the candy bars, and see nothing unusual. They appear to be still wrapped and closed up, never opened.

If picking my favorite candy bar isn't a coincidence, then I'm a little freaked out. Shocked
