Well.. have we got any other option? Other than thinking it's a list of locations for some event?
10 days or so now for the release date of the game, I am going to asume that they will be with this for a week.
Maybe they give beta codes to everyone that goes to those locations (if they are locations), but I still have my doubts about that list being locations for events. There seem to be too many...

Has anyone located them in a map? Is there anything that all of them have in common?

PS. I don't think it's fair that non-US residents are being kicked out of the game if they plan to go on with real events... Sad

Okay, that is a damn kickass commercial playing during the football games this morning. I hope this is playable for non-networked PS3 equipment.

I'm the same way, really hoping we get more details so I know whether taking time off is worthwhile. I can't justify taking time off work for something that I may or may not be able to get to.

At this point, I'm considering the possibility that at 3pm EDT, when the timer expires, we'll be getting more info. As opposed to an actual live event occurring at that time. Maybe it will be an online thing opening up.

But really, I'm guessing that the lack of any info which might convince us to take time off of work means that perhaps we shouldn't need to.

Or maybe I'm just hopeful. Very Happy

I agree that with that many cities, and so little info, a live event seems unlikely. Maybe a drop of some sort? Or like Avatrix said, maybe some online thing will become available. Either way, I am really excited to see what happens in about 4 hours.

Maybe when the countdown ends then AAA will make their spectacular return, the 8th Newsletter will be revealed and we will get a link to the Project Genesis website.

I really hope something cool happens at the end of this countdown. We've been waiting so long for anything new.

30 minutes to go. I am going to be really mad if this is a let down. I shall cross my fingers just in case.
