 		I don't know if anyone has any invites left.......but if everyone had responded who was invited I'm sure we'd be playing by now.

 		Many thanks to whoever sent me their secondary invite. I just sent my consent form in and I am way excited to be part of this. I can't wait to see this one get started.

 		Awesome, looks like our PM follows the thread here. Hadn't even had a chance yet to send an email and nobody sent me a secondary invite, but looked in my mailbox and got the following message:

Consent to Participate in Research

Researchers: The Lake Area National Development group partnered with the Leslie Organization for Research and Development, hereby known as L.A.N.D.L.O.R.D.

Project: Our project is an in depth study of the effects of certain stimuli on subjects' R.E.M. cycles and subsequently their dreams. This study will utilize many different subject and control groups. By the end of the study we hope to have substantial enough evidence to either disprove or affirm certain theories and hypotheses put forth by the researchers, as well as provide important data to the scientific community.

Purpose: To collect data in favor of the hypothesis that subjects' proximity to familiar individuals will affect their dream cycle.

Procedure: You will spend the night in a casual sleep session at a hotel of our choice. We will give you a few tasks to complete before, after, and during sleep. E.G.: Keeping a dream journal. Research staff will be on hand should you have any questions or concerns during the study. On the following morning, we will ask you to participate in a group session, to compare notes and discuss any possible shared experiences with your fellow volunteers.

Invitation: You have been selected by random lottery.

Risks: There are no risks directly related to participating in this research.

When we have received a satisfactory number of responses, we will begin.

 		For anyone still hoping for an invite, I emailed the Landlord directly and I got one a few hours later. (Yay!) So, there might be a few left. I didn't get an extra invite, though.

One (potentially dumb) question, though. How do you sign the form? Did you all just type in your preferred name? I'm probably overthinking this...

Barely five minutes later, a taxi pulls up in front of your living place. You quickly throw your necessities into some bags and pad out the front door, sidling into the backseat of the vehicle. The driver greets you politely, and pulls back out onto the road. A lazy drive along deserted country roads eventually leads to a stately Victorian-inspired building. The taxi rolls to a halt in front of the hotel, and lets you out. Almost the instant you exit the vehicle, a man descends upon you with a friendly greeting. Once the pleasantries are over, he ushers you inside. You barely get a glimpse of the address plate as you pass by: "002 Ash Tree Lane" it reads. You aren't given the time to dwell on it, however, as the man beckons and leads you through the posh foyer. He flags a bellhop, letting you hand over your bags to them before leading you up the stairs to your room.

He opens the door for you, and begins rambling about how the study will be run. "The first night, we will be gathering the baseline of your sleep patterns, so there will be no special equipment. You can just change into your pajamas and relax," You nod, set down your bags and retrieve your pajamas, retreating to the bathroom to change. Once finished, you step out and he nods to you enthusiastically, "Great, have a good night then…Oh, let me get these out of the way for you," He leans down and picks up your bags, tucking them into the closet for you. Feeling suddenly drowsy, you crawl into the bed. As you lie down and get comfortable, the sound of the door closing is miles away, sleep quickly claiming you.
