I got the same message as Illy and replied:

I wake up and investigate the room.

Edit: Got this as a reply--
Quote:
You awake, and sit up slowly...glancing about, you note it is a fairly average hotel room. The bed is plush and king-sized, with comfortable down blankets. There is a nightstand to your left and to your right, on the left-most cabinet sits a vase, stocked with faux white roses. Peculiarly enough, you note, that one of the roses is missing its blossom. Paying no heed to it for now, you note that the bedroom is equipped with a bathroom, a closet, and a front door, like all normal hotel rooms are.

I've decided to go through the cabinets looking for anything useful.

I'm taking the opposite route right now. I'm sleeping like a rock, and hoping to have some sort of lucid dream.

Hey, he said sleep was "quickly overtaking me," so I figured I wouldn't stay awake long enough to do anything productive anyway XD

Don't forget to update the wiki!

EDIT: Damn those caffine pills! No sleep for me! Exploring my room.

Pushing the blanket it off of you in preparation to crawl out of the bed, you note that oddly enough, someone has cut a small swatch out of your blanket.. Curious how similar all the rooms are...

Got the same answer as you. with the cut out blanket. Weird, that there are missing things in each room. I'll go check the nightstands.

Hi, everyone...

I'm Nuala's partner, and I received the same email as Illy and Nuala. I responded with, "I open my eyes".

Cheers!

Aww, I've become predictable! Ha!

Just received this:
Quote:
As you stand up, the rug squishes between your toes. Looking down, you see that it is primarily art deco in style, with red being the primary color. There seems to be something wrong with it though, and although it takes you a moment or two to notice it, it finally dawns on you: a perfect square swatch has been cut out from it. Shrugging to yourself, you move on to look through the cabinets, not finding anything of interest.

Peering over to the front door, you note something protruding from underneath the doorway.

I'm trying to pick up the object for inspection now.

I am checking my pockets for any belongings, as well as the item under the door.

I've found an old postcard.

As you stand up, the rug squishes between your toes. Looking down, you see that it is embroidered with fruit, green being the primary color. There seems to be something wrong with it though, and although it takes you a moment or two to notice it, it finally dawns on you: a perfect square swatch has been cut out from it. Shrugging to yourself, you move on to look through the cabinets, finding a single, outdated postcard. The text scrawled on the back has long since faded, and the right-most corner is missing.

I will have a closer look at it now.
