[META] 5-year anniversary at unfiction.. and 6-year

As my own five-year anniversary as a unfiction member is rolling around, I started to notice the join dates of other players, many of whom came here to play MU, who have passed the five year date already!

Then I noticed that Gupfee, imbri, krystyn and many others have already passed their six year anniversary. I don't have a complete list but all you have to do is scroll through the memberlist in ascending order to see the names. Of course SpaceBass has been here the longest but his anniversary is really the anniversary of the beginning of the community here.

And they said it wouldn't last.

Congrats to everyone.

Whoa. I'm only 29, but I feel old too!

What was the first game played here at UnFiction? CTW? I remember Lockjaw players used a yahoo Group, but I'm fuzzy about how I got from there to I Love Bees.

Officially? Tron 2.0 Live. Laughing

But seriously, folks... Push, Nevada was the first game to be played on the Unfiction forums, officially. However, the game began to be played out at the old ARGN forums, which closed shortly before the Unfiction forums opened up. Alias 2.0 and Search4E discussion also began at the ARGN forums before discussion moved over to the Unfiction forums -- although Search4E discussion was all pre-game, as the game didn't launch until November 1.

The first game to be played, from start to end, entirely on the Unfiction forums was.... Timehunt.

Also, OT: lookit this clown congratulating UF on having "100 members". OMFG.

Wow. Longer than I thought. But then again the Beast was when? 2001. So we've been doing this for a LONG time... What a ride!
