I say that the "Is this for real?" and "who are you?" are probably lines from the movie from the first bad guys that run into her.

I can see it now. Two thieves in a dark alley, running with their loot. All of a sudden, a scantly clad woman with a golden whip shows up seemingly out of nowhere.

WW: "Stop what you're doing."

Thieves blink and look at her, confused.

WW points at their loot.
WW:"That is not yours. Return it. Now."

Thief 1: "What? Is this for real?"

A fight commences wherein WW kicks their butts, major.

T2 (As she's throwing him across the alley): "Who ARE you?" followed by a "aaahhhhhh!"

Just a theory....

Sounds a little... well, 90's...

The tag lines "It's Time For A New 'W'" and "A Woman's Job Is Never Done" seem borderline tongue-in-cheek (the 'woman's job' possibly even sexist? I don't know, PCness is hard to keep track of these days) - has this been updating everyday?

Yup, a new poster has been revealed pretty much every day... or rather, the little girl (now, two little girls) have been tearing off more of the top poster to reveal the hidden one.

I can't believe they would have any part of the script set in stone at this point. Anyways if it's Sarah Palin we'll know tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong though really I'd love it if this was a real Wonder Woman thing.

I have a theory. How bout it's 42E doing a very clever and hilarious promo for the Dark Knight home video release. They get us all excited about it being wonder woman, the face is finally revealed, and it's all smiley! Think about it! Joker thing on the wall! Bingo! I bet I'm a genius. Haha.

I think that the image of the Joker used in the marketing posters for the Dark Knight is the property of Warner Bros. Warner Bros is also behind the Wonder Woman straight to video movie....at least that is what wikipedia says. So it would make sense if they want to capitalize on the large on-line fan base who played the Dark Knight ARG. I really hope they are, it will be the first time a studio took advantage of the huge on-line audience developed by an ARG to market another property.

And Wonder Woman is the property of DC Comics - I really don't see them allowing anyone to use their image in a political campaign.

Don't Wonder Woman and Batman belong to the same Justice League thing?

Oh I get it. "Very soon the truth will be revealed." Doesn't Wonder Woman have that lasso that makes people tell the truth?

If it was for TDK, wouldn't the three logos on the poster be WB, DC and Legendary Pictures rather than WB, DC and Silver Pictures?

Perhaps the Joker thing is just an indication that 42E are involved.

My impression is that 42 has indicated as clearly as they possibly can, that they aren't involved in this wonderwoman viral. You can scroll back through this thread for verification. Unless they've changed policy, they don't twitter about their own games. And, if they were posting in a thread about their own game, they would break the one unbreakable rule of these forums. They simply wouldn't do that to their fans and players.

A true compliment to 42 that whenever a viral campaign comes up people wonder [hope] their company might be involved.

heh, well maybe I'm wrong about the twittering..but I'm damn sure that they won't post in threads about a game they are running.

Cool. Well, I will refrain from finger-pointing till we've more to go on, I guess.

Anyone else notice, in the same style as the joker face, the "who are you?" in the upper right hand corner. Anyone know when that was added?

Also, anyone find it strange it's NOT been updated yet today? It seems like all the other updates were weekday-ly (as in, not on the weekend.)

As far as it being DC property, this could just be flying under their radar if it's someone stumping for Palin. However, it is interesting to note that it's Silver Pictures instead of Legendary, giving it a bit more credibility over someone just taking the TDK production companies and trying to make it look real.

Well, at least it's not a Palin ad.

I'm not sure what to think about this though. We have no other reports of anything happening with a Wonder Woman movie, and usually you hear at least something come out of hollywoods rumor mill before an announcement. Plus, there's nothing on her IMDb page indicating a WW movie in the future, although it could just not be updated yet.

And did anyone else see the writing on the wall before the image shows up? I believe it says "Is this for real?" in the now-familiar Joker scrawl.

Edit 1:
Here's a link to the background image without the poster overlay:
http://www.wonder-who.com/wonderwhowebpage5.jpg

Edit 2:
Going back through wonderwhowebpage#.jpg, it appears the "Is this real" shows up first on page 4. However, my monitor at work is not configured to let me see when the Joker face shows up, or when the "Who are you?" in the upper right hand corner appears.

Hmm, I have heard plenty of rumors about Megan Fox being Wonder Woman, but I still have to wonder if this is just a fan hoax. The picture is obviously photoshopped, but then again, studios have done that in the past to build hype when there aren't any stills available yet. So I'm split.
