So to kind of help kill the rumors and speculation:

"A Warner Bros. rep (whose logo you see pasted to the bottom of this poster) confirmed the site and it's contents are "complete BS.""

No problem. I had been following this and had to know what was up. True, it is a lot of effort and whoever did this has some great skills.

A few months back joblo.com got wind of a guy who did a series conceptual posters for what he called, Gotham City, which he posed as his idea for a third Batman flick. He did posters for The Riddler, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. You can find the link in this article if you'd like.

Then about 10 years ago now, this guy did a video called Tie-Tanic, which you can still find on YouTube. Its about the Empire sinking the Titanic to try and retain its box-office supremacy. To my knowledge, the guy who did that now works for Lucasarts.

So, in conclusion, I guess it's part hobby, part hoping for a job, with a smidge of "I want to mess with people a bit".
