Since BHBE aka Sneakydoodle has sabotaged the International packages I've started some tasks from those kind enough to publish their lists on this thread.
Should be sending a couple off very soon to Santa's Christmas Tree Site

Here's a pic of the contents of my envelope. It's so cute and I must say Sugar Plum did a fantastic job on the booklet.
The suggested random acts are:
1. tell us what job you would want if you could work at the North Pole
2. be a secret Santa to someone
3. play a reindeer game
4. tell us one intangible thing you'd like this year for Christmas
5. in public, decorate a small Christmas tree and see how many random people you can get to help you.
Recipe included in the booklet is
Gingerbread for Houses
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
3-4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Beat together sugar, shortening, molasses and eggs. Mix 3 cups flour and remaining dry ingredients. Add as much of the 4th cup of flour as needed. Form into 2 balls and refrigerate. Pat onto cookie sheets so that a house pattern can be cut. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cut while warm. A light "edible" gingerbread! Put house together with cement icing.

Yeah for ornaments on the tree! I sent both of those in although I wrote neither. I am not sure where the re-write came from, I got a copy from a friend. I have been working hard on this and want to get as many ornaments on the tree as possible. Time is short, so hurry and send some things to the site.
The tree looks better already and I can't wait to hear what Snickerdoodle will have to say about this!

Just noticed in the news at Santa's Christmas Tree site that the international packages have been sent out. Can't wait to see what all y'all get in the mail! http://www.santaschristmastree.net/news/
Trying to think of a public place where I can get random people to help decorate a small tree as I'd like to do that task. Can use the candy canes Sugar Plum sent as well as the paper ornament, but I'm also thinking of making a bunch of paper snowflakes from these videos as well as the ones I learned to make in school. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/297995/how_to_make_paper_snowflakes/
Reindeer games to enjoy: http://www.logicmgmt.com/blogic/games/its.htm (sent in to tasks).
Found, played and sent in images of more reindeer games and thought everyone might want to play, too: http://akidsheart.com/holidays/christms/chmahjong01.html

Can't control the mail which isn't that important so I sent a couple of things yesterday, including a reindeer game-- care and TLC of a demanding lil critter
Just want to mention that your 1st game link is part of a Recommended Santa Site that I know is a big fav of those with kiddies to entertain, even the visiting sort.

Thanks for the info amandel. I didn't look at the entire site but found it when Googling for "reindeer games." You're right that there are lots of things there to entertain the little ones (and I was entertained, too!).

Finally got my envelope!! Here's my list:
Quote:
*give/record a five-minute reenactment of The Nutcracker
*donate a toy to Toys for Tots
*Make up and sing a new version of the 12 Days of Christmas
*tell the Nativity story from an unusual perspective
*decorate a Christmas tree
Also got instructions for making pine cone ornaments, plus two pipe-cleaner candy canes, a paper ornament with a glitter stocking on it, tinsel, and a handful of Christmas confetti that blew into my face when I opened the envelope. XD
I added the decorations to me and my roomie's tree and took a picture to email to Sugar Plum.

It's the anthrax of Christmas cheer!
Also, Mr Grumpypants is complaining about Sugar Plum finding more ornaments, but I'm not seeing them on the tree yet. Maybe later tonight?
[edit] Hey, there they are!

OK, I'm super slow to reply this week. Received mine as well and I'll add any new stuff in a bit. I'll likely be making a donation to Toys for Tots and maybe doing a holiday movie review. In the meantime, I've broken out my Christmas avatar, Hypno-Claus. Enjoy!

Hypno-Claus certainly shows the holiday spirit MrToasty. I would think using that to spread cheer around the internet would get one more ornament on the tree. It made me

So I guess working the "I hate christmas, too" angle didn't work. Oh well! On to my random acts! I JUST got my envelope two days ago because apparently my roommate doesn't think giving me my mail is important lol I'm at work now, but I'll post what came in it when i get home later.
Off to figure out what I can submit to the cause Let's light that tree!!!
EDIT: Just read the night before christmas poem. Must not cry at work, must not cry at work. Mad props to the person who threw it up there.

Tresbien, I loved your story about the robot and the doll! Santa really is a wonderful and loving figure.
Let's get some more decorations up there!
