Still haven't had any luck on the pdf file, and I have combed through every bit of evidence from Berlin to current. I am sure it is staring me in the face.

On another note... the emplist.jpg found as file 348953, under the verawattly login (thanks Peacemaker) for IBBC, has a penned (looks handwritten red ink) number in the bottom left --- 1156 ---- anyone have any ideas or uses for this number?

I tired, and failed, at using 1156 as the pdf. password, and even got abstract associating the number 1156 with letters on the document to see if that would work and again, no luck.

The only other thing I can think of is if someone can call the phone number that they left for Salinger, maybe the 1156 can be used to access a voicemail message or something that might get us into the pdf. file. Sadly I can't call from where I am at, but what do you guys think? They did mention calling him if we needed to.

called the number for Salinger (though I will probably regret it due to cellphone international rates) at 1:55pm EST. The number 1156 is indeed the access pin to hear his messages. I recorded them on a micro-cassette recorder and will transcribe them as best I can. A couple of them are interesting to say the least...

Sweet, I am happy to hear that I finally had an idea that worked again. Thanks for calling the number. I look forward to seeing the what the messages are all about.

Edit - for spelling

Messages
Salinger's voice mail

This was the best I could do with what I had. There was a total of 6 messages, each separated by a BEEP. Msg 1-3 and 5 are from Salinger's wife/girlfriend. She calls him Louis (like looee) and it appears as if the relationship is on the rocks, as Salinger is a workaholic. Msg 4 is from Donna (new intern type?), and Msg 6 started as Nathan leaving a message and Donna picking up (conversation was recorded).

transcription of Louis Salinger voicemail 011 44 20 3355 0443 dialed from US VM-pin 1156

msg1 - Hey darling... hoped you'd pick up... just calling to remind you the play is today at 5... I'll meet you outside the school at quarter to... Emily's really excited... buy her some flowers if you can... she'd really like that... bye

msg2 - damn it Louis... it's 4:55... where are you... (I) hope you'll come... I can't believe it, Emily looks so different the way they made her up... come quick... I'll - I'll be in the thrid row to the right if you come late

msg3 - Ugh(kind of gutteral)...It's 6:30, Louis... (sigh) why do I even allow myself to think that things can be different... Emily is a little star, she has a lot of talent... but you wouldn't know that, would you?...

msg4 - Hi, Detective Salinger, it's Donna from Decatur and Losh (spelling?), Chicago... if you didn't get the email, I am studying criminal justice and I am participating in their international program this semester... so they gave me this number to reach you... I'm starting at your office this week... I just got into London and I will be by first thing tommorrow... I look forward to meeting you and helping as much as I can, detective... see you soon

msg5 - Louis... come on, pick up... are you ever there?... we need to talk... I mean really talk... I'm scared Louis, about where we are headed... I've been wanting to bring it up for months, but you're almost never home... and when you are, well, it's so lovely, I, I don't want to ruin anything... I want to stay together...you're my love... (well/and) Emily but, she's crazy about you... she talks about you all the time... Is it my fault? do, do I need to change something?... be more understanding?... you're such a puzzle, Louis... so sweet one minute, so, illusive(or - elusive) the next... you work so hard... Why? Why does this bank mean so much to you? We're your family Louis... we miss you... please

msg6 - Hey Salinger, it's Nathan, uh, we picked up (inaudible)... (BEEP - phone picked up) (Donna) (inaudible - maybe I'm here) Nathan... it's Donna... is everything OK with the pickup? Are the kids alright?... (Nathan) what kids?... (Donna) (inaudible - maybe damn-it) .. (children heard in background - almost sounds like helium voice saying I found the kids/or/disk).. (Nathan) ah, now I see them... they're all here... (Donna) you're on the way to the safe house then... (Nathan) on our way now... (Donna) do you want me to give Salinger any kind of (dog barks) message? I can try and get him on the phone... (Nathan) yeah... tell him to start treating you a bit better... (he's) got no manners what-so-ever (chuckles)... (Donna) (inaudible -- maybe quick quick, I'll be sure to get on that)... (sound of car tires - as if locking up the brakes - grunting/screaming)... (Donna) Hello?... (sounds like a child screaming)... (Donna) Hello? Nathan? Can you here me?

I will try to convert the micro-cassette recording to digital, but I am not promising anything.
Edit -- do not have the cord to plug directly in and to record to mic had really bad quality.
Edit 2 -- not sure of spelling of firm Donna is with

I am about to go blind looking at the following images...

http://www.theibbc.com/images/storehouse01.jpg
http://www.theibbc.com/images/storehouse02.jpg
http://www.theibbc.com/images/storehouse03.jpg

The lines on them make me think there is more to each picture. Why, for instance, is the word "ROW" blurred compared to the rest of the address? Certain areas look clear, while other areas seem to be blurred by the lines. Also, the storehouse02 image, there is a yellow/orange line that runs most of the way, top to bottom, on the right side. I have been trying different things, but i don't have any experience with the different things that can be done to an image to hide information. (I am researching, though)

Anyone have any ideas/tips?

There definitely seems to be more to these pictures. Sadly, I have no access to any sort of program that can look for files hidden within pictures. Perhaps the key to our pdf. lies within these pictures.

On a similar note, I did try all visable words from the pictuers as the password. No luck on any of them.

EDIT - Looks like the London video is up. And according to the summary we are now in a holding pattern until sometime in January when Salinger is supposed to contact us again. I assume this moves things closer to the movie's release date, which I think is February 13th, 2009.

Global Eyes Development

Hi everyone, just read through the story so far, very intriguing!

Just wanted to give y'all a heads up:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the Global Eyes Development intranet has been updated, and now includes two new pieces of surveillance footage, one showing a scene in a pub (best to see it yourself), while the other is very short, and shows just someone's glove-clad hand removing a large number of € banknotes from an envelope.

There is also a recording of all the messages on Salinger's voicemail.

RE the pics of the warehouse... has anyone tried destegging them? Or maybe try stacking them? I would give it a try myself, but I'm finishing my masters thesis at the moment and so I'm a little pushed for time I'm afraid!

Edit: added spoiler

Back from the dead, sorta...

http://www.stoptheinternational.com/findthemoney.aspx

Uh, looks like we have a LOT of dead drops now. Two in Miami, yay!

The first New York one at least is in a little over a day (9am Thursday, by my watch). When the clock hits zero for the location, you only have THREE HOURS to retrieve it.

And somewhere on the site there are numbers which could get you a car:

You're only allowed so many guesses per time period. So be careful. I've found the numbers, just can't enter them yet.
