Re: [Trailhead] Stop The International
Re: Los Angeles

Assuming the GPS coordinates to be accurate, the Los Angeles drop is in Glendale. I know exactly where it is, and should be there in 30-60 minutes.

Amusingly enough, the site warning says "EVIDENCE MUST BE COLLECTED BY 9:00 PM" -- evidently they still haven't quite got the knack of these time zones. I assume they mean 9:00 p.m. eastern time, which is 6:00 p.m. out here, which is in three hours.

Ifihadahifi has retrieved the L.A. dead drop! He's pulling it off the fence now!

Google Earth makes it too easy, especially if you have a Robbie of your very own directing you down alleys... Wink

Content updates to come in about an hour when Ifihadahifi gets home. Unfiction strikes again!

Ifihadihifi just texted me that he retrieved 300 US dollars as well as the foreign currency!!! He didn't report anything else other than the lock and I don't know the serials but either Iffy or myself will be posting more info later.

So I guess all the locks have different amounts. So far Ifihadahifi's reported the biggest amount to my knowledge...

I just got back from the L.A. dead drop. I got there right before Ifihadihifi and his friend did, so we split it 3 ways. We still made off with quite a bit each. We forgot to bring pliers and left the lock. Doubt we really needed it anyway. Anyway, it was quick, but fun!

ares- Sorry we didn't officially meet, I was the blond one.

You need pliers to get the lock off? I've got a whole tool box in the back of my car. Razz

Have you tried entering any of the serial #'s in yet??

That's funny. We would have needed it to get it off the fence. The combo opens the little compartment on the bottom, but not the lock. We decided we didn't need it.

Haven't tried the serial numbers yet. I was on my lunch break and now I'm supposed to be working.... Laughing
