What time is it there now? Just so I've got some idea of exactly how early it went up...

The ATL Drop 1 went live 3 hours early. It was around 10:30 AM when Transtar arrived and it wasn't supposed to go live until 1 PM.

yup, k I've double checked the times for today... a couple have been adjusted, but still only two (Tempe, Miami) are live.

I think we will need to keep checking back to know if/when things change. I guess perhaps if there's a problem with the drop, the time might change. It's unfortunate for people planning excursions, but better safe than furious ; ). hopefully nothing else will change...
I would presume they're watching this thread too, hehe

Agreed, everyone double check! ATL was supposed to go live at 1PM Eastern today but according to the time given on the site now it will be 4PM. I don't know if they are changing the location since the coords went live early or if it's another glitch, but ATL has been changed.

If the PM's are watching, thanks for your work! Glitches or not, this is still a ton of fun...

EDIT: It has been moved again, its now at it's original time of 1 PM.

I'm moving, I'm moving!

My boyfriend actually just found the Tempe lock, we got it open and were rewarded with cashy money.

He's taking pictures, and this post will update later with pics of the lock and the cash, as well as the serial numbers of the money when he gets home.

Tempe: Obtained!

Don't know if it was or not, he's back on the light rail and heading home after grabbing some breakfast. He'll count it there and let me know, and then I'll let you know.

Transtar got the ATL drop. One other person was there and they split the spoils. He said they got around $100 each so around $200 total.

ATL Drop

I was the other person at the ATL drop. Crazy day... this morning I saw the early posted coordinates, jotted them down and ran out the door. On the phone with family I was informed that Transtar had already checked the site and it wasn't there yet. I found the site, a gas station, and parked to stake out the drop spot. Whoever put the lock on there was very quick, as I was watching and didn't see anyone in that spot until Transtar showed again. I thought he was placing the lock and then realized he was opening it. Kudos to Transtar on being a good sport and splitting the spoils. It was good to have someone else there to share the fun, and cool to actually walk away with something from a drop.

Thanks to the PM for a fun game. I really appreciate the short time window in the middle of the day. It worked much better than the Dr Pepper one where I was searching in the city twice long after the prize had already been found.

Nothing written on the currency I have. Transtar?
Serial Numbers:
DKK500 872321F
HKD100 MH576084
I took some photos before I left.

MESA DROP: OBTAINED

It turned out that the drop was like four blocks away from my work, so I asked my boss for a long lunch break and hauled ass up to it on my bike.

Total bills:

50 austrailian dollars,
50 singapore dollars,
100 Swiss francs,
10000 Nipponese yen

I'll get the serial numbers in a bit. No pics of this drop, though, didn't bring a camera to work with me.

Pics and numbers from the Tempe drop will come as soon as my boyfriend gets home tonight.
