Well I don't know about anyone else, but I have a small swag box that I hope may be a swag crate sometime before I die XD

BTW, despite the map indicating otherwise , San Diego's been retrieved by a team of ours.

I bite my tongue. The indicator just went off.

Dr. Girlfriend and I have saved all of our original bills from the original evidence drop and the first L.A. cash drop. Our theory is that we'll either hang onto them as cool swag from the game, or we'll use to finance a weekend mini-vaction. It's a tough choice.

ETA - L.A. Drop was picked up already. Less than 20 minutes. Anyone from here end up with it?

sorry about that. I bailed on work early to head over to McKee. I think someone was there before I was because the code was already entered on the lock and I had a hell of a time getting the lock opened so someone may have tried and then gave up.

Yes! Someone picked it up super fast. I was on my way when my sister called to tell me the website said it was picked up. That sucks cause I was hoping it was you who got it.

Madison Drop was:

20 US Dollars
20 Australian Dollars
20 Euros
50 British Pounds
20 Canadian Dollars
20 Canadian Dollars
500 Thai Baht

For a Grand Total of:
$158 and some change

I'm debating what to do with the money now because I could sure use it right about now, but since it was part of the game I don't know if I want to part with it...screw it...weekend bender here I come...once I find a currency exchange.

Hmm...some secret sleep agent I suppose.

My sister got the Seattle drop BTW. It was:
100 Pounds
100 Swedish Kronors
20 Euro
50 New Zealand

Back from LA fun. i got there at 3:15 and there was one other guy wandering around looking and then left after a few minutes.

I didn't find the drop but I did bump into a MovieWeb reporter that was writing an article on it though and he took my picture and we talked for awhile. He was sent a lock and told to be in the general area of the drop but wasn't given an exact location. He was there pretty much at 3:00 looking for a briefcase but didn't see anyone snag the drop.

Oh wells, hopefully we'll get UF in the article too!

The Austin drop is still showing as active, even though it's been gone for almost two hours now. Mr. Pated and I wondered if maybe the group he saw at the coffee house was part of the drop team, so he went back to see if there was something there - no lock, no nothing.

hi there, new to the forums and relatively new to args Smile i picked up the austin drop today, got there soon after it went live. i didn't see anyone around when i got there, used the code on the lock and got the wodge of cash out; i kept unlocking and locking it, wondering if perhaps i wasn't missing something, my first time out i didn't really know what to expect, heh! i probably blocked the stairs for a good 5 minutes making sure, eep!

teh haul:
50 Sweden Kronor
100 New Zealand Dollars
20 Canada Dollars
50 UK Pounds
40 USD

~$185ish last i checked. Smile it was so exciting and fun, and i can really use it right now, being out of work! going to set aside enough to check out the movie at the Alamo though, definitely.

The San Diego drop in a nutshell:

Though I was physically closest to the drop point, I was delayed by two road closures, a detour, and just about every red light along the way Evil or Very Mad Scaurus was there when I arrived, along with a non-uFer, both of whom were noticeably NOT showing signs of "OMG OMG GOT IT GOT IT!!!"

Celina arrived shortly after, and though we were absolutely certain we had the right spot- no lock. We waited, we wondered, we wandered... and about 45 minutes later, we notice a dude in a black hooded sweatshirt acting all secret-ish and walking away from a fence. A different one, across the street.

Non uF guy got to it first, unlocked it, and dug it out with his keys. Celina, Scaurus and I quickly got to work sorting out the value of each currency and how best to split it. This is what we retrieved-

60 Euro -------------- $78.93
50 New Zealand ---- $26.22
50 Swedish Kronor - $8.82
20 Australian ------- $13.31
20 Canadian -------- $16.51
50 UK Pounds ------ $71.22
500 Rupees --------- $10.25
Just looked at it, and it's actually:
500 Baht ------------ $14.32

For a total of $225.26 $229.33. Much better haul than last time =) Even if I did end up with a @#$%ing parking ticket.

Unfortunately the lock did not end up on a chain link fence, as advertised. So my tool of choice - wire snips - wasn't enough to cut it off. Now I have ANOTHER reason to carry bolt cutters with me at all times... Shifty Eyes

I snapped some photos, and hope to have them up on flickr shortly. I'll post the link when they're ready =) All in all, good fun!!!

EDIT: Photos are up HERE
