Yo enaxor, I just got my copy of the book & I'm looking at it for the first time while I write this, Let me see....Yeah OK everything is in the cover pocket except the 2 files from "Police Reports" on Brinkvale login.

The book is over 300 pages of small print, so I'm going to be reading allot tonight Cool , -I'm excited, I've been waiting for this book since it was announced!

 		Sorry about the double post...I think I'm all caught up on the stuff from Zachary's login at Brinkvale. I'm wondering if anyone else gets the sense that this ARG could also be a bit of a treasure hunt?

On the Taylor Family Genealogy website under mysteries, it mentions a missing savings bond with this notation:

 		So I picked up the book yesterday and read it -- it's a page-turner, and I'm fast. Smile Some of the writing really isn't my cup of tea, and the dialogue -- well, only in a book. Rolling Eyes

But we're here to discuss the ARG elements, not write a review... Psysop's summary of the packet of materials was really good, and most of that stuff is explained pretty well in the book. I don't have it in front of me now, but there there are several numbers that you can call and the book gives VM codes:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1-212-714-7032 pin: 1234 D.A. Taylor
1-212-629-1951 pin: 3017 Zack Taylor

For both of these, you simply hear voicemails that are talked about in the book. (Sidenote: I'm a little confused on the timeline here, because all of this is supposed to have happened last November, yet these VMs are all from early in the book. Surely they have gotten other VMs since then?)

The packet also contains a business card from an insurance agent. You can call him too:

1-202-263-1108 pin: 0229

Plus, if you go to the insurance website at at http://lifeplanmedicalalliance.com/ there is a login box that uses the same pin: 0229. This contains some backstory that isn't in the book, plus another phone number for the Russian criminal Alexandrov:

1-516-214-8320 pin: ?? Supposedly the pin has to do with when he 'died' but I couldn't nail down the exact date.


Finally, there is one more conspiracy website mentioned in the book , but I can't recreate the full URL from memory right now. It contains additional backstory about the Taylor family and about the Russian criminal.

I think that just means "Nothing". As in this is an empty HTML tag. Nothing to see here, move along. The page designer probably thought it was an amusing way to say "This space left intentionally blank".

 		Password Hint @ Brinkvale
I noticed a few days ago that the password hint at http://www.brinkvalepsychiatric.com/ changed. It now shows:

ZT: Little brother's name
NX: Car

ZT is obviously Zach Taylor and NX is Nathan Xavier the pharmapsychiatrist. But what kind of car does he drive? I haven't gotten far enough into the book to find out yet and I'm not sure if it was mentioned in passing the in the podcast prequel yet or not.

For those who have gotten that far, hope this helps.

Figured out the PIN:

The CIA Termination doc received with the book mentions the events of November 1997 as being when Alexandrov died but not the exact date. There are only 30 days in November so I tried them all. It was the 18th so the PIN is 1118.

Hey gang,

Just finished the book today and I'm looking through the websites. Is the only way to see the "clues" at the Suicide Girls website (the racy photoshoot) to subscribe? Has anyone seen them and determined if it's worth subscribing?

Also, I found some "typos" late in the book:

On page 247, the line: "Pop," Lucas said, "he doesn't want t0-"

The o is obviously a zero.

On page 267 the line: "You want... want t0... KNOW MY FATHER?" he shrieked.

Again, the o is a zero.

On page 297 the line: Drake bucked again, his brow furrowing in confusion. His head titled forward, away from the ceiling, toward my voice.

It should be tilted, but the l and the t are reversed.

In any other kind of book I'd just say they were first edition mistakes, but in this kind of book... Also the fact that they're all on pages ending in 7 seems as though they're intentional.

I've probably missed others, so if you're still reading the book, keep an eye out.
