Just got this e-mail from Dr. Soren Ulfert:

Thank you for joining the IHC Ambassador program. Your enthusiasm and dedication last weekend indicates you have some of the key skills we're looking for in our ambassadors.

Your initial tasks are posted to the Ambassador website. A special thanks to those of you who have already completed them. Please keep in mind that we will be tracking your performance during these and other assignments. The most successful IHC Ambassadors will be recognized and rewarded for their efforts.

We will be posting additional tasks in the coming weeks. When that happens, I will alert you via email.
Sincerely,

Dr. Soren Ulfert

I've completed the tasks, but I'm not sure exactly how some of these things can be tracked. For example, I've posted the IHC images and video links on several busy image boards, but how would they know that? Tweets are easy to follow because they have our Twitter IDs... but across different social networks, people can very easily have different usernames (thankfully I'm the same everywhere). Just seems like it would be a pretty daunting task to figure all that out.

Anyhow, I'm going to continue my approach, which has been to slowly and steadily disseminate information. One sudden spam-burst and then nothing for weeks just doesn't feel very ambassador-ish Wink

I've completed all of the tasks, too! Hope to get some cool stuff out of it!

Completed them here, too. I wonder too how they're going to keep track of our task completion, or if it's just busywork.

This may very well have been posted already, but I didn't see it.

The IHC site now has a countdown until the August 10th date. Clicking "Learn More" reveals the details (with dates) of the plans which PostLarval spelled out above.
Quote:

* The search will begin on August 10.
* We want to find the best of the best, regardless of formal education, political connections, or name recognition. It could be you.
* All applicants will try for the best scores in a few games designed to measure leadership abilities.
* Up to 12 top-scoring candidates will be asked to submit videos, pictures and slogans by Sept. 25.
* The candidates will campaign for the most votes in the election, ending Nov. 3.
* Everyone has a voice and a vote.

Today's the day.

The countdown timer is blank. The competition is not scheduled until 12:00 pm. I have not received any email.

So I guess that we have another 6 hours to go.

It may be noon PT, or 3pm ET.

Well, it's 3:16 here on the East Coast, and nothing in my email inbox...yet.

 Posters
Posters in the Miami Area?

Ok, I am new to the game so I have spent the last couple of days "lurking" in the messag board and today I finally got to the point where I called the voicemail line and set up a twitter account so I can follow what is going on...I have never played an ARG but am ready to get started in this one....I was wondering if anyone knew of any location in the Miami area that has the posters for the Institute so I can upload any evidence of vandalism for the ambassitor tasks...I look forward to working with everyone here as the details unfold in the coming weeks/months!

First things, Welcome to the board and ARG's. Right now the next step is waiting on Sorren Ulfert to let us know where the communications will be intercepted. Also we are waiting on the COrruption Theorist to let us know more info too. check the other threads for links. ALso you probably don't have to worry about the Ambassador tasks since that selection process is over as the final 12 should be revealed tomorrow.

Thanks for the info....I see that Charlie Frost has posted a summary of events/people involved on his blog also. Thanks again for the help and I look foward to playing my part in intercepting this information if one is exchanged near me.
