Random thought: reading "the Creep" in a post just now made me think of "the Static" that is part of the game Dreamfall (a sequel to The Longest Journey). A sequel to Dreamfall is planned: "On 1 March 2007, Funcom announced that the continuation of the story will be published in episodic format under the title Dreamfall Chapters. ... I think that "man's greatest problem" that GoDSEED tried to solve was that of our own mortality. That's why GoDSEED is refereed to as a "god"; because it, like the God of the Middle Eastern-originating religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), could influence life and death. GoDSEED was created to eliminate death.

Now on to what I think happened.

The video mentions GoDSEED praying to some sort of god. I think that the real God, upon hearing of what humanity was trying to do, made GoDSEED go insane and attempt to kill humanity to punish us for trying to defy Him and the natural order of things that He created. However, somehow, humanity won, and GoDSEED was buried.

I believe that the company now trying to uncover GoDSEED, Black Star, is made up of the enemies of God i.e. demons and even Lucifer himself ("Black Star"=corruption(Black) of a once pure being(Star) i.e. a fallen angel). They want to recover GoDSEED so they can "fix it" and give humanity that which God does not want them to have, immortality,therefore "beating" God, to some degree. This also ties into the tale of Prometheus, the deity who gave humanity fire at the cost of angering the gods, who did not want them to have it.

I found out that there is an italian familiy that runs a food chain out of Milwaukee named the Fabrizios. Apparently, they had some bad blood between them and blackstar at some point, but are apparently working together for the common good.

Also, pre go.d.s.e.e.d is known as the dormant era, and post is known as the active area

So, we're out of 'potential' now, right? There's too much info going in to single confused threads. You know what I'm referring to.

Are there any hints as to commercial tie-ins yet? For me, all hints point to this being a project from talented wonks--no big movie studios or whatever. I'm impressed that the PM expected us to turn over such big puzzles, so not novices, but there doesn't seem to be a tie-in to me.

If it's a trailhead, you're looking a year out to come to fruition IMO. Any other OOG thoughts?

Oh and Mike insists he's not capable of answering M Rotor questions, so I think a new phone number is coming.

Conjectures, based on recent developments:

1. The 300 troubles were man's greatest problem, and what led to Godseed.
2. The 300 troubles had something to do with God.
3. The Creep might not be an entity, but something like a disease?

Edit: just listening to the recorded calls. The creep is an entity.
