postcard

Has anyone applied to be a M-rotor re-seater yet? This has to be our next step. I mean we got a message from youtube saying "fortune favors the bold" and what is the boldest thing that we've got right now? A postcard saying "BE AN M-ROTOR RE-SEATER" How straight forward is that? Plus it's not even the first time they put out an ad for applicants. I think we should all write up our resumes and get new jobs...with the economy the way it is, we can't afford not to. Am I right?

I sent out an e-mail asking about becoming a Junior Re-seater, unfortunately I never received a reply.

I sent an e-mail asking how and where to apply for re-seater to the MTC, no answer yet either.

But - according to the login times at thisismymilwaukee's YT account, at least somebody out there is still there. If only they'd be a bit more talkative. Confused

re Kato: Hmmm... But where do we go from there?

So, what are the lose ends that we have?
There's the Blackstar job ads that never yielded any replies to applicants.
There's (possibly) more yet to Mars's notebook.
There's the re-seater postcards.
There's the cryptic latin reply from thisismymilwaukee on their YT comments.
And there's that slashful response that eOgas got from them (also via YT).

Anything else? What's the current message if you call the MTC? (Being in Europe, I don't feel much like calling myself...)

Yeah, I'm pretty desperate to see this thing rolling again. Wink

I just tried calling every number listed on wikibruce and they were all disconnected. If I remember correctly, I called Russo's emergency last week and it was still connected, but I only got his voicemail. I don't know what's going on, but it sucks.

New Chuck Tweets just posted on Twitter:

Quote:
ChuckDideEate: When I was out in my vineyards, a bird just pooped on me as it flew overhead. Some say this is a sign of good luck to come.

Quote:
ChuckDideEate I don't know who these "some" are, though. What the hell, bird? I mean, really.

Dice Page

First there's the latin quote which means "fortune favors the bold" and now we have this Bird poop superstition. Did we ever do anything with the dice page in ARH?

Recap

Anyone got a wiki/recap they can link for me for this game? Just logged on and found it (caught my eye, since I live right near Mke)...

Or does someone want to post a recap of the game to here so I can join and perhaps render some service?

Thx.

 lock thread?
does forum ettiquitte demand or reject this?

Hey, quick oog meta question. I've been following this forum since the inception, and it's getting out of hand: People are re-posting updates in the wrong threads and dragging this page on and on.

Personally, I think 104 is enough, and a moderator should put the hammer down on this thread, funnelling updates into the appropriate threads or making people start new topics.

If, indeed, things are really picking up again, it may be time to get our house in order here.

It's not been too bad!

But, hey, as a mod, can I ask that people look at the existing threads before posting, and see if there is an appropriate place to put any updates you may have? Like, for instance, there is a thread for the Chuck Twitter updates, so that's a great reference point for anything he may be eating or freaking out about. Discussion of his stuff can also go in that thread, or get quoted along with some of your own speculation elsewhere.

I think that is actually pretty much happening right now (even though it seems like there's just lots of duplication everywhere), but if we reach a saturation point, maybe we can move together as a group and find better ways to disseminate updates.

I'll leave this thread unlocked in case there's any uncategorizable updates, but I do once again encourage people to take advantage of the current organization of this subforum. Very Happy

Sorry for angering everyone, I had no idea there was a Chuck Twitter thread until a few days ago and I haven't posted here since. In my defense, there are like a billion TIMM threads and no real easy way to track them all.

Sorry again.
