The message to which ThisIsMyMilwaukee (the holder of the Youtube account) replied in the comments section stated that certain scenes in the video were not of Milwaukee, but New York, and made no mention of Decatur. So, when ThisIsMyMilwaukee wrote, "to answer your questions, yes, the video was filmed partially in Decatur...", I understood it to mean references to Decatur are really references to New York.

The message original message seems to be missing, but the reply remains.

it's sad to see that this guy that's either trolling, or has seriously joined youtube JUST to do the crap he did... regardless, here are the posts... IN REVERSE ORDER!

Oh PS, I am coming to Brooklyn next month for our "Destroy All Snobs" Fundraiser, and I have the most wonderful Cheese Curd and Broken Beer Bottle Casserole, I REALLY want all of you to try!!! But it really must be tried rectally! (Comment removed by self-important author)

ThisIsMyMilwaukee wrote:
Thank you for your kind words. To answer your questions, yes, the video was filmed partially in Decatur (for financing reasons), and yes, Mayor Tate Mellon will be chairwoman of the Regatta. Enjoy your stay... in Milwaukee! ;]

Nipplestiltskin wrote:

Ah, sorry but she just cancelled. Mayor Tommy Shanks will be showing up, and he said something about joining your group of sycophants for more shameless promotion in Mellonville. He said 'our town hasn't been whored up enough' yet. But then he remembered that you guys dont have any real talent, and just said to keep doing this... He said they might have a new vehicle for this type of thing...it's on something called "You Douche". Sounds fitting.

Nipplestiltskin wrote:

Gee, i wonder if I can make a video to be a self-promoting whore too! Maybe the newspaper will grant me my 15 seconds of fame, especially for untalented Improv comedy rejects! Wow! Can I join you guys with my wooden dildo? Here comes the splinters!

Nipplestiltskin wrote:

More importantly, given this came from NY, it is utterly insulting, especially coming from the largest collection of spoiled, entitled, deluded douchebags extant. Milwaukee has been a small town for 150 years for a reason. Germans dont have fun... So piss off.

ThisIsMyMilwaukee wrote:

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video, and we hope you move to Milwaukee soon.

Nipplestiltskin wrote:

This is utter tripe, and really non-funny. Zero Milwaukee-isms... and very disjointed and lame.

it's also interesting to note that this was all done in a span of roughly one day (one day apart between first/last post, roughly)

I'm sad that http://mymilwaukee.wikibruce.com/Timeline hasn't been updated in months. I miss being able to go there and get caught up; it was really well-organized.

You will be ridiculed by the more fashionable teens who have stylish flare guns. Also you will be a cumbersome weight to your traveling party. Thanks for commenting!

i found it rather humorous ;3

agreed, unfortunately I think the updates were few and far between and people just drifted away after the live event in central park... you're more than welcome to add to it though Smile

Did I just read 108 pages only to discover that this game is sleeping like a log? Yes, I most certainly did.

I was wondering whether some of the veterans could write a synopsis of the story so far (there's already a spot on the wikibruce to place it, but it's still empty, alas).

I don't believe TIMM is really dead (although I might be simply in denial); there seems to be too much human capital invested by the creators to simply pull the plug in silence...?

Wow, been a while since I've been on here. In any case, I was checking up on this, and I saw that thisismymilwaukee replied to a comment on the YouTube page today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLWP45AGE-o

I dunno if this means anything, but I figured I should notify people in case it was.

and to actually post it for sheer laziness...

Our crime to beer ratio is more exemplary than any other city in Active America according to MTC internal metrics, friend. And as far as weather goes, well, we can't all be Grand Rapids! Thank you for commenting.

Sorry. Wasn't sure it was worth posting, so I just put up the link. I figured that, at the very least, it's some evidence this hasn't been dropped entirely.

They dropped Decatur and Grand Rapids in two of the recent YouTube comments. Did we ever figure anything out relating to the Active Cities map or Important Materials list below it in the Reasonable Haven booklet?

I just came back to check in here. If you want a more "narrative" version of The TIMM Saga, I was writing one over here:

http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk/showthread.php?t=49038

It's only four pages long and covers basically everything that happened while cutting out some of the speculation and work of problem solving. There are probably more complete versions on the wiki, but that one is mine. Smile

And I'm still sad that this is dormant.

Talk about the Dormant Age!

Thanks for the synopsis. Awesome picture by the way. Very Happy

Is it possible that the Central Park-map was the "golden map" referenced in the video, and that the golden turkey Fund was the "forgotten weapon"?

That would still leave us with an emerald casket.

Has the last entry in MM's diary been decoded?
edit: It has, and I actually already read the solution too. Embarassed

Hey everyone, just thought I'd post this here. I know I haven't been on here in forever, but who has? So here goes:

I was playing Team Fortress 2 the other day, and I got to talking to someone about Milwaukee. He said he was from Wisconsin, and I made mention that I was from Milwaukee. After a bit of Milwaukee talk, someone asked "Hey, has any one ever heard of This Is My Milwaukee". I said "Hell yeah!! Muthafuckin bonub!" Long story short, he told me he knows Jonathan Duquette's dad (?) and that he heard they're doing another one. If anyone who may still be trying to find clues finds anything, keep this in mind.

"Another one"? Would that mean another TIMM-video? (That would be awesome) Or would it mean a completely different ARG because this one's definitely dead?
