Hey everyone, just thought I'd post this here. I know I haven't been on here in forever, but who has? So here goes:

I was playing Team Fortress 2 the other day, and I got to talking to someone about Milwaukee. He said he was from Wisconsin, and I made mention that I was from Milwaukee. After a bit of Milwaukee talk, someone asked "Hey, has any one ever heard of This Is My Milwaukee". I said "Hell yeah!! Muthafuckin bonub!" Long story short, he told me he knows Jonathan Duquette's dad (?) and that he heard they're doing another one. If anyone who may still be trying to find clues finds anything, keep this in mind.

I only believe you because I knew how active you were when the game was going. Lets hope random Team Fortress kid is right

I don't think anyone mentioned on this forum having emailed Synydyne about the game yet.

As for their site, it is obvious that they use a lot of TIMM-related stuff (the picture on the home page is always one of six different shots from the original TIMM-video; they also use the "dark dollars arrangements"-pictures, etc.), but I think it's pretty clear that this site is OOG. They list other projects as well (including a documentary and several how-to videos) that seem completely unrelated. My guess would be that they started TIMM as a project to demonstrate their talents. They are, after all, "a newly-formed content group specializing in video and web culture synthesis" (from their About Us-section).

Synydyne is a legit production studio and yes, I have emailed them about the game. The last response from an email I got was months ago and they said the best part of the game has yet to even happen. But that was before all contact had dropped off so who knows

Boston, around what time did they say that? (Shortly after the NYC event, perhaps?) And when was the last time you emailed them?

Hm... that's some time ago. I recently added Lipps Leroux and Mars Maddison on Facebook, but they haven't accepted me yet; I also sent out an e-mail to infoSPLATthisismymilwaukee.com yesterday. I'll keep you posted.

Wasn't there an actor who resembled the cream puff eater and found out? Because if legal action was taken, even a CAD letter, that might be enough to shut the ARG down. That doesn't quite explain the YouTube comments, though.

What you're referring to, I believe, is the Chuck Jagoda-mystery. Chuck is the man who's constantly eating in the original TIMM-video; he's also the man with the Twitter-account ChuckDideEate). In the video, he's credited as playing himself (see at 9:40). However, when some people tried to contact him via Facebook, it became obvious that the real Chuck Jagoda is just an actor, who knows very little about TIMM. (See the discussion here.)

Now, I don't think this cease-and-desist-theory makes sense. Even if Jagoda would have been pissed off for some reason, that doesn't mean the whole game should be frozen. I mean, the creators could've easily let him disappear, write him out of the story, let some other character fill in... So, this wouldn't explain the freeze.

What is truly bothering me, IG, is the whole dukes 'n powerlevels-thing. What's up with that?

The real Chuck Jagoda loves TIMM. He doesn't know shit about the game but loves that people know him and want to befriend him because of the video

Has anyone tried contacting that Seena dude? He seems to be in the know, as he was the main perpetrator of the NYC event. He has a website, too. Perhaps we could try that?

EDIT: I just emailed him. I have no idea what his response will be. I will post it here if/when he responds. But judging on how much of a response we've gotten from others in the past, don't hold your breath.

This is 100% correct. I've kinda gotten to know him on facebook and he's a very cool, laid-back person who genuinely seems to appreciate his sudden fame as a result of TIMM. He definitely does not want the game shut down, and has nothing to gain if it is.

That probably rules out the "cease and desist"-option, I can't think of any other people or organizations who might have a reason to stop TIMM.

Unless Milwaukee really, really, really hates being depicted as NYC.

The real-life Chuck is genuinely lovely Smile I can't imagine him trying to get the ARG shut down. It's cool that he's made so many friends because of TiMM! Very Happy
