It's been a long time since Milwaukee, and it still holds all the mysteries. I still have the printouts. I was on here the first day we got the booklets. What kind of poor addicts are we that a little remark on FB makes us hold on for more?
Soon... Hopefully...

I just remembered this game the other day! I'm glad to see it might come back...maybe?

Oh! What makes you think that?

I was one of the first people in on this game, one of the most active, and one of the most disappointed to see it go... I haven't actually picked up an ARG since TIMM shut down.

I still don't think we've heard the absolute last of TIMM. Maybe not a full-scale return of the game, though that would be nice, but I think eventually the PMs will tell us what it was all about and why it stopped.
Personally I'd like to see a reboot of the whole concept from the ground up. Pretty unlikely, sure, but they can't take wishin' away from a bloke.

It could be a matter of a non-disclosure agreement, as well-- I was contacted awhile back about working on an ARG, and had to sign a non-disclosure agreement as well. I'm still not allowed to reveal details for I think another six months, even though it never quite got off the ground.

This Is My Milwaukee was my first and only ARG experience. I discovered it via Reddit and I was instantly hooked. It's such a shame nothing ever came out of it, aside from the one-off event in a cold NYC two winters ago.
I get reminded of TIMM on a regular basis. The randomest things can set it off. I saw a reference to "the troubles" today, which reminded me of the "300 troubles" in TIMM, which brought me back here. I had to register again just to post this.
Two years later, I'm still hoping someday someone behind the project will come here and explain what all was supposed to happen; what it was supposed to mean.

There's an advertisement on a local radio station that is using background music that sounds just like what they used in the "Arts" section at the beginning of TIMM.
I can't quit you TIMM.. no matter how hard I try.

Whoa.
I wished Lipps a happy birthday on Facebook, just for old times' sake.
And got a reply.
"You'll find the way forward ... or maybe a new path westward ... ah! A coastal melody. Forms and paperwork, sealed with a handshake."
Are they messing with us again or does this mean something?

I know this is probably just massive wishful thinking on my part, but maybe it's a hint they're starting a new TIMM-style game set in a West Coast city instead.
I left Lipps a message too. Whether there's any hope of a revival or not it can't hurt to let the PMs know people still care.

Just read that reply on facebook, squealed, and ran (figuratively) over here! I was just whining the other day about how much I missed TIMM.

Hey, just a thought, I mean it's likely they are just taunting us, but if we could get like 100 more people to refriend Mars it might show that even (has it been years!?) later we're still hopeful. I loved this game and it actually changed my life. I think I even like that it never properly ended, it sort of adds to the mysterious allure...but of course I want more!
