My roommate and I are beginning to think there might be sometime to that Chinese after all. It's constant. Listen to the other idle chatter, and then listen to that Chinese. It's a constant volume and it follows the camera.

According to the link posted by djdevvydev, the Rose Main Reading Room will be open tomorrow from 11am - 7.30pm. Any chance that any of our New Yorkers could make it down there tomorrow? Smile

Re: library hours

Hey... I just found this website...

http://blackstarglobalservices.net/index.html

I'm not sure if it's in game or not, but it's weird... none of their partner companies seem to exist (can't find them through google), and according to their page info, it was last modified 12/02/2008, which obviously hasn't happened yet.

It's also a pain to navigate... any time you click a link, an image of a star appears that obscures the entire screen.

Again, not sure this is in game, because I don't see the black star logo anywhere. so PROCEED WITH CAUTION

EDIT: I'm sure this isn't a real company. None of the partner companies exist and the testimonial listed is from John Doe. But, it's so much more amateur than everything else connected to this ARG, so I think it's out-of-game.

adblock the image and you can get around, but it doesn't have much information.

contact being homestead makes me think they used a pre-designed template.

I'm skeptcal that it's ingame... though their whois info, while different, is anonymous, and the domain was registered November 5th.
TIMM.com was reg'd in August though... Confused
And the design quality of this site doesn't compare to TIMM.com...

Does anybody see the resemblance between this "image of a star" and the starburst icon present on the "Class L" sign @ 6:28 in the This Is My Milwaukee video?

I still think that there's a connection to "Hoopeston" given:

*the in-game reference to the MTC in the article at http://alternativeapproaches.com/pnuke1/Article4791.html about Hoopeston
*the fact that both "Hoopeston" and "This is My Milkwaukee" are Synydyne productions
*the reference to the "Crystal Web" in the Hoopeston trailer at http://www.vimeo.com/805258 by M. Rev. Don Lewis
*the description of the "personal access point" ritual by Lewis in his own video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYFHQMTg-Ls (fast forward to 7:07)
*the illustration of the treasure-hunter digging for what looks like buried crystals in the ground at 9:58 in the "This is My Milwaukee" video
*the post from a previous user saying that the crystals were important to the solution (have they returned to explain the solution they allegedly figured out?)

Something to think about.[/url]

yeah, exactly. I don't think it's in-game.
