Emeralds, Rubies, Swords, Treasure Hunting, High Level, Evils trapped underground?

Maybe it's an ARG for Diablo III Razz

I kid... But still, this ARG is strongly hinting at an RPG.

I'm also curious if one of the MTC folks could point out the location of the Art Museum since there's the voltaire reference about planting your family tree in the arts and then mention of the museum.

Here is the art museum marked on the postcard...you can pull it up on Google maps by name.

I wish we could work together on one forum...

Maybe we will be able to come together at one forum eventually at thisismymilwaukee.com!!!

JUNEAU STATION POST OFFICE
606 E JUNEAU AVE
MILWAUKEE, WI 53202

seeems to be the physical locale of the PO BOX...anyone milwaukeeans want to stalk it out to see who gets the mail?

It's about a mile from my place, I have to work in an hour so, and I think they're closed tomorrow for thanksgiving. I can try and scope out Friday. However, its just a normal post office, I don't think I can check someone elses' mail.

I just talked to Joey again.

The conversation was mostly uneventful, however, at one point, he said "Hey, hang on a second. I'm travelling through Sector 15. *static*"

I guess he's doing rounds?

someone posted a press release on here, where did that come from? I didn't get a copy of this and if this is a legit thing off a media wire I really need to know asap.

I've never heard of M2 PressWire, but that doesnt mean it doesn't exist. so... whoever found it please let me know.

"Treasure Hunting" seems fishy...

With the talk about treasure hunting being encouraged, do you think it's some kind of ploy to lead people into the tomb of the Go.D.S.E.E.D. so it can feed off of them or something? (Perhaps to keep it satisfied so it doesn't attempt to resurface.) I remember reading about someone asking about it and Mike replied that it was buried "with the finest jewels" as if to entice someone to try and get them.

This thought occurred to me while I was waiting in a drive-thru for some Ham BURGers.

press releases

i believe those press releases were posted by synydyne themselves, or whoever is behind this. The sites they were posted to seem to be places where users can post their own news...

Coincidence

Just another quick note:

The low 60 cycle hum that we hear getting louder to the end of the second video when the worker is confronted by the fennel plant is similar to the hum we hear in the "club" scene when dancing lady states "He doesn't know does he?".

It also seems like there would be big holes all over the place where treasure hunters have dug.

The 4 to the left *could* be lat/long (and if they are your looking and FAR too big a scale imposing it over a map of the US Smile

Now that's a big assumption. So you're gauranteeing that it should be overlayed on a map of the US then?

BUT the line off to the right is completely off in terms of scale, angle and curvature.

"Completely off"? What is it a sketch of the entire globe? Wouldn't that line fit in perfectly to be the south-eastern-most horizon?

Meepak wrote:
If all 5 lines are related they are not lat/long Smile

Hey, you might be right. I just wish I knew how you knew for absolutely sure. You are so certain[/b]

My 2 cents:

The map looks like lakes to me.

A quick check of google maps reveals that there are a TON of lakes near Milwaukee.

Maybe that's a good place to check?
