Yeah, the entry is removed. The edit was made about 11:30 AM(EST) on Friday, and removed today at about 5 PM. And, right, since it was through a proxy we wont be able to tell where the edit originated.

However the other phone number we got is still working, and someone actually answered it.....I was an idiot and hung up without probing for anything. I was just expecting a voice mail...since it's not during business hours. It was mike Russo of the MTC! Why am I such a dumb-ass sometimes. Someone braver should give him a call. blah.

EDIT: Maybe if I write down some questions beforehand this time.....

Awesome!

By the way, my friend and I just noticed this (from the segment on fortified apartments):

The yellow banner stands out from the rest of the image. We can't tell what it says... Lomnia? Lomma? Lumnia? Lemnia?

Not sure if it means anything, but it looked weird.

I dont know if I should try to call again this late.... Anyway I was thinking that maybe the stopped using the other number due to the amount of calls they were getting from random people. Since they gave this one to someone who called maybe it's the next step in getting in contact and a way of weeding out people who are not playing...and just goofing around.

Whoa, weird.

I googled "Lomma" and got a link to a page of a hauling industry that sounds vaguely like the company the banner might imply.

http://www.jflommainic.com/index.html

However, the site just stays open for about one second and then craps out on me. Does it do this for anyone else?

Also: Hello!

UPDATE: Ah, it works in Explorer. Also, it's in New Jersey. Darn.

I'm hoping that's what it is... or maybe someone at the Tourism Commission left the door open and it got infested with Godseed fragments Shocked

I hope we can make contact through that other number Smile

Oh yeah, forgot about that number. I'll try calling them tomorrow. To me the sign looks like it says "Lemma," which I know of as a Mathematical term. It doesn't seem like it would help here.

The park! There's something relevant about the park!

I was going through the video (...well, more watching again, simply because it's hilarious), and I noticed something during Terry's conversation with the treasure hunter:

Terry: "I hope you're not planning to dig there, treasure hunter." (motions to a spot on the ground with his head)

Treasure Hunter: "Well, what's it to you? I don't believe in monsters, anyway."

SO, this tells me the goDSEED is likely buried in the park mentioned in the video!

Thoughts, anyone?

I was reading up on fennel on wikipedia, and came across Poison Hemlock. Apparently, it looks almost identical to fennel.

Quote:
When crushed, the leaves and root emit a rank, unpleasant odour often compared to that of parsnips.

Conium (Poison Hemlock) contains the alkaloids coniine, N-methylconiine, conhydrine, pseudoconhydrine and g-coniceïne.

The most important and toxic of these is coniine. Coniine is a neurotoxin, which disrupts the workings of the peripheral nervous system and is toxic to people and all classes of livestock. Coniine causes death by blocking the neuromuscular junction in a manner similar to curare; this results in an ascending muscular paralysis with eventually paralysis of the respiratory muscles which results in death due to lack of oxygen to the heart and brain. Death can easily be prevented by artificial ventilation until the effects have worn off 48-72 hours later. Ingestion of Poison Hemlock in any quantity can result in respiratory collapse and death.

It kinda sounds like a re-breather would help in that situation...

Also kinda interesting...

Quote:
In ancient Greece, hemlock was used to poison condemned prisoners. The most famous victim of hemlock poisoning is the philosopher Socrates. After being condemned to death for impiety in 399 BC, Socrates was given a potent solution of the hemlock plant.

After runnings searches on the word Jagoda, I realized that in the credits Chuck Jagoda is listed as playing Himself (he is the guy constantly eating), after putting the name into google it turns out he has a facebook profile...only 12 friends on it and his network is in Newark, NJ

(I could be completely wrong, but this looks like the same guy to me)

I messaged him about Blackstar's work in Milwaukee

Oh, and does anyone have any ideas on why they pronounce Hamburger in such a way? I'm trying to think of how it would be spelled, Ham Burger?

I'm new to this by the by

Awesome work! I was wondering who the Jagoda person is that's mentioned in the credits.

Let us know what you find out!

HAMburger

Hey everyone this is my first post and first ARG.

That Hamburger thing has really bothered me as well. Its not just hamburger that they mispronounce, its also Lasagna. It's like the narrator has never heard those words before, implying either that some kind of massive social upheaval happened and enough time past for those words to fall out of use, or the narrator is not human (or not a native English speaker but how much fun is that?)

One other thing that I noticed about the Flax Seed; Flax is a re-occurring theme in Discordian literature. The Principia Discordia tells everyone to spend all of their money buying flax to use as the new currency. Its also discussed in Robert Anton Wilson's Discordian novel The Illuminatus Trilogy.

One other thing about Flax it has a distinctive blue bloom that looks suspiciously like the "GAMESMASTERJASPER Game of the Year 2007" award emblem at the start of the Barkley: Gaiden trailer.
