Now I am thinking this really is a Milwaukee Tourism project. Found this (link to article below):

Milwaukee Tourism Commission: Milwaukee Tourism Commission Launches Major Internet Campaign At ThisIsMyMilwaukee.com

"The Milwaukee Tourism Commission intends to build ThisIsMyMilwaukee.com
into an internet content destination. As the campaign develops, users
will flock to the site to watch videos, make profiles, check sports scores, and chat about all things Milwaukee.

"This video is just the first wave for This Is My Milwaukee," said
Burton."

"The centerpiece of the $1.3m campaign is ThisIsMyMilwaukee.com, which
features a short online film designed to propel Milwaukee into the
YouTube age. The video offers a hip and irreverent look at Milwaukee
that anyone can appreciate-families, young professionals, teens, even
current and former residents."

Uhm, hasn't this been mentioned already, before?

if the "usubmit" in the url means what I think it might - "user submitted", then it's very likely this was submitted to be an 'official' PR piece, as part of the campaign. seems likely.

It was mentioned around page 42, I think..

There really is - the Wiki is coming along nicely though - with a lot of the info and all of the calls made so far logged: http://mymilwaukee.wikibruce.com. Of course, lots of work still to be done, but it's getting there. Smile

If you see stuff that's missing, feel free to sign up and add it - or let us know. ..

EDIT: Whoops! Fixed the Wiki url. Smile

Me too. And I love the diversity of all of the people excited about this... there's so many first time ARGers. Even my parents wanted to get in on the action.

I just hope this isn't a letdown when we find out what all this was for. I hate those "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine"* moments.

...Joey (I think) said there were options for "open-minded adults". So there is already a contradiction in the phone calls.

Maybe that's a reference to all this talk of "swinging", as TN mentioned in passing in the Young Professionals segment leading up to the bar scene, and Joey or Mike mentioned to one caller he was heading down to the Canning District with his wife who was into swinging (but he isn't?). Why would swinging be more common, even so commonplace that a guy would casually mention to a stranger on the phone that his wife's into it? Rampant horniness? Reproductive difficulties? There's that theme of reproduction again...

Speaking of the bar scene, maybe that flash of M-rotor instructions was the guy realizing, "Holy s*!t, sounds like an M-rotor coming unseated", so they both bailed immediately (jettison all affiliated personnel) and that kinda spoiled the mood, or they had different ideas of which shelter to seek, so they split up? Also, Mr. Glasses is in both scenes when we hear that sound (bar scene and 2nd video).

Drink your ovaltine.

or we'll find out there really was no story or meaning, but our overpowering analysis actually made sense out of the nonsense and we created our own story and plot... Razz

creeping dread

Although the video is bizarre and entertaining... all we've gotten is phone numbers, no real bread crumbs, no offshoot related sites.

2 videos.
3 phone numbers.
1 website.

This better lead somewhere soon or it's going to be a huge waste of momentum.
