But it could also be screaming key to destegging the photo. Because he says to let him know once I've "Looked inside it"
He said we needed to get it in the hands of a guitar specialist?
I've tried so many passwords, for Camo it's unbelievable.
Guitar
Gibson
Special
Specialist
Pretty much all the Gibson brand names (Les Paul, Kramer, Steinberger, Tobias etc).

Destegging is the art of hiding something inside of a jpg/jpeg. It's quite common in ARGs and is kind of like using the pic as a RAR file. Certain tools such as "Camo" Can desteg pics, you need to input a password...
I've tried so many PWs now though; like w/ Dashboard it's maddening. And either this PM is extremely good @ being cryptic, or extremely bad @ being obvious lol

Just a thought... Is there a "Gibson A____" ?
Maybe the G.A Project is after one of Andy's guitars lol.
Okay so I'm passing the time by being an idiot. The whole Sherlock Holmes thing aint working for me atm!

I thread earlier, that you sometimes visit ATS??
I have been doing a fair bit over their on codes, ciphers and cryptic puzzles.....that is where my main strengths lay along with most electronic technologies.........I think this is extremely clever and if the counter is anything to go by....could be very long and difficult

Well that's the thing, sometimes these ARGs kick off w/ a "Prelude" and there's usually some waiting involved but not usually this long; nine out of ten times if they give you something to unRAR or DeSteg it's usually pretty quick to do so.
I'm also hectic to figure out the guitar puzzle considering Andy sent it to me after I "OOG" Emailed him to give us a sign that this is a 'game'. But the fact it's Thanksgiving will mean there prob' wont be too many people online here today >.<

I've tried messing around a little with Photoshop. No luck. Nothing looks out of the ordinary to my untrained eye. I'm also no good at destegging. There's some program out there that can tell you if something is in fact stegged or camoflauged or not. I'm not sure where. Maybe Toasty would know.

I think his responses are totally indicative of an ARG ( although this is my first awareness of there existence and it did freak me for a day!)
was the gibson sent to you as a jpeg? or link?
the very start of this was so uncanny that I think we are missing the obvious!! to allow us to carry on with what we now have??

It was sent to me as a jpeg in an email which was a direct response to my email titled "[[OOG]]" And asking if it was indeed an ARG. - What other reason would he have to talk to me suddenly about his "Favourite Gibson" And send me the pic attachment?

Random tangent, but does anyone know a destegging program that will work for Linux? I just tried installing Camo using Wine and it is being temperamental.

This is where my head is running....(I gotta get my cryptic head on!)
He stated its not his Guitar....but also implied it was due to time!!! (not money)...........also saying to look 'in to it' with a specialist? what is inside a guitar??? fresh air, accustic wadding??
I could be way off but I think we are missing the tools within the words??

Exactly my thoughts... He's hinting at a certain program to use but that's why I think he was hinting @ a destegger.
Or maybe rename the jpg to .mov and play it in quicktime? haha
And sorry Shaggy, no idea!

Dashboard.rar suggestion Good morning, all. Yes, it's Thanksgiving over here, but I think I like the idea of playing an ARG better than dealing with relations. At least I can just log off if I've had my fill. Just try that with Aunt Elma.
Been catching up. Received 2 emails from our Benefactors, same as those already received by others.
The "gibberish" produced when using *Tempus Fujit* as a PW for the Dashboard.rar file doesn't look like corruption to me. There's a clear pattern to the output, and the file only responds to that specific PW. Given the latest update about the Hawk, I was thinking: Time flies, so does a hawk, especially if it won't be landing. Can we try the Latin for hawk as a PW? It should be *buteo* or *accipiter*.
Edited: Oh, and about the guitar -- do you think it's just coincidence that in his email to Leyton, Andi kept misspelling Epiphone as *Epihone*?

Nice thought Jayembee and I tried both of those to desteg the pic and unrar the dashboard but to no avail!
But... Am I the only one of us seeing some form of 'writing' or something on the guitar? (See below).
