First set brings up the middle of the water somewhere off the north-west coast of Germany.
Second set is Silver Avenue/Stanford Drive, Albuquerque, NM.
Third set is just off the "Chermin De la Tour" - South-East of Paris.
Fourth = Just off the "Sutton Road/A170" A little north of York, United Kingdom.
Fifth = Just off of Long Plains road - West of Portland, Maine.
Sixth = Somewhere in Japan.
Seventh set is somewhere close to Werl, Germany.
Eighth = Over the street from the Indian Hollow Metro Park in OH (not too far from Cleveland).
And last set = Not recognized by Googlemaps.
Edit: Natas beat me to it w/ a more details punch!

Damn this thing not showing people editing whilst you're posting.

it should warn you of new posts made while you were replying, but yeah, don't think it does the same for edits. hate that. BUT for those who are editing, it does warn if there's a new post since you began editing.
So someone is always warned one way or another that something's changed... at least they should. I didn't get warned there was a new post as I saved the edit either.
ah well

My post was made after you edited, thebruce, otherwise it would have stamped your post with the "edited xxx times" thingy.

No idea if this is on the right track, but "ALAS ARCING" anagrams to "SCALAR GAIN", a mathematical term that turns up a handful of times in Google, including a mention in a link or two about image halftoning, which is the conversion of a high-resolution image to a low-resolution image. Which might be relevant?
I mean, it's either that or "CARLS AGAIN".

O/T! I previewed my post first, which shows the same kind of screen as a 'warning' so I probably thought I had accidentally previewed again on the actual warning & b/c my post went onto a new page didn't think to look back, my bad lol.
But on the subject of the editing. It will only show you as editing if you stay in the typing screen/box to edit it for longer than a certain time period.
I've gone back and edited posts about 6-7 times before and it's never stamped me as editing lol.
---
Back on topic - That's a nice find Larry and perhaps could result in something; although we found the answer to that little pixel square in the photo and relevance to these "pie" images. - So what would Scalar Gain result in, atm? Hmmm...

Or the "Anagram" couldn't have been that complex and it could mean:

Carl Sagan's Middle name is Edward. There goes the Carl I. Sagan theory.

From page 2 of this thread.... About the coded quote...
Code:
SOMEWHERE, SOMETHING INCREDIBILE IS WAITING TO BE KNOWN

Hmmm. The extra I indeed is important

Well, that's it for sure. Too much of a coincidence with the Sagan quote and the "i" in INCREDIBILE. No idea how or if it applies to the rest though. And what's with the extra I's?

Maybe it is " I Carl Sagan " In a first person statement.

Could be. Maybe this is a Carl-Sagan-Back-From-the-Grave ARG. Cool. Welcome to UF Dirt Diver. Love your tv show the Unit. Your TV wife is a tramp.
