You are in a calming room, standing on a soft rug. In front of you is a wooden door. To your left is an old, wicker chair. To your right is a kitchen table large enough for two, with two small chairs at either end. On the right wall are a sink and one cabinet. On the back wall are a gas oven and two paintings of religious scenes. On the left wall are a twin-sized bed, a nightstand with a burnt-out candle, and a wooden dresser.
You notice that the wooden door is covered in numbers.

Welcome to Transition Village! This is the abandoned Pastor's House. You have a purpose here; try to figure out what it is. There are ghosts, so stay on guard. If you see other travelers along the way, be sure to say hello! Any changes you make to the town are permanent until someone else changes them, so please be considerate... and careful

uhhh, I am scared now...
first I'll check out the dresser, like all of you, I suppose

I'm interested to see how this'll work...And of course I'm in (sent off an application email just on the off-chance there is a house free; if not, here to help as ever!).

Upon searching my wooden dresser:

Quote:
You open the wooden dresser and several bugs scuttle away. The smell of dirt and age waft toward you. Inside the dusty old dresser, you find two items: a stained mirror and some very strong armor that should fit you perfectly. You may only take one item per turn.

So I took the armor, because who doesn't like shiny things? Plus, in my humble opinion, I look good when I wear metal.

I obviously didn't make it into a house in the first 5. I asked about how we will know when to make a new request, since someone has to leave, and the response says that we have all been put on a list and will be contacted when our turn has come.

Well damnit, I wasted my first go! It appears the numbers on the door were the bloody binary welcoming me to the house; shows what I get for not reading properly lol.

I walk toward the wooden dresser and look inside.

Should have done that, sooner.

You walk over to the wooden dresser to search for numbers, but there are none there. Investigating further, you open the dresser drawer. The faint smell of incense greets you, and you see silken, ivory-colored lining inside the drawer. It has been frayed at the edges. Inside, you also find two items: a statuette of a polar bear, and a magic staff. You may only take one item per turn.

lol.. a polar bear... xD POLAR BEAR GIRL TAKES THE POLAR BEAR..
no, serious, what should I take... oO

Magic Staff seems like the obvious choice, so take the polar bear statue.

Thanks! That info will come in quite handy as now I don't have to spam the poor people with repeated requests... Razz

I say polar bear, they make getting through the day so much easier...The magic staff is probably more useful, but much less comforting...
