I was out yesterday to help someone move. Here's what happened with me...

You step outside the house and take a look around. The town is very still and quiet, and the air is chilly.

Several yards in front of your door is an old well. Just beyond that is a church.

There is another house to your right, and houses next to that continuing along in a semi-circle around the edge of the village. At the other side of town is an aged field. To your left is a trail that leads to a graveyard. In the distance, beyond the graveyard, is a large mansion.

Suddenly, a ghost appears. He is tall and thick and glares at you with furious eyes.

"I got no love for doctors," he growls at you. "I see you leaving the doctor's house, so that makes you a doctor in my eyes!"

Behind him floats a young ghost with long, white hair. She holds a teddy bear to her breast and watches. In a tiny voice, she whispers to you, "If only we could just DISAPPEAR."

With one low groan that sounds like half insanity and half tears, the angry ghost bares his teeth. He is going to fight you. You have to think fast.

What will you do?

You run back to the door and try to open it. It slams back shut � locked from the inside by some magical force. You are trapped outside on the porch. There are several items in your pocket.

The young girl ghost cries out, "Please make us DISAPPEAR!"

The angry ghost shouts, "Turn and face me!" He is coming up behind you now.

Quote:

ME :I write in the notebook "Please make the ghosts disappear".

Crapola. So ... someone want to start making your way over to the doc's house to revive me?

So I too decided to help out our fellow traveller on our way to the well. Here is the response I went with for yesterday.

"I'm afraid I'm going to have to take a slight detour on the way to the well. That traveller needs our help. Any of you that would like to help me are more than welcome to come along. We can go to the well once he's safe or you may go ahead and I'll meet you there."

Walking towards the porch where the traveller is trapped, I shall attempt to get the ghosts to focus on me instead so that the traveller may either get free or help me defeat the ghosts.

Let's see if I can manage to not hurt anyone this time. Uberg, you may want to try focusing really hard and saying "disappear" out loud. I did this when I discovered the word "laser" and we all know that turned out. Just a thought. If nothing else, help is on the way fellow traveller!

Something falls out of the endangered traveler's pocket.

From behind you, you hear the laughter of the angry ghost. He is coming closer.

The first need is to free yourself.

Well, Uberg looks like it's up to you for today as I'm done until tomorrow. You might want to pick up the tablet you dropped as I'm not sure me and Gazerbeam can hurt a ghost...

Thankfully the rope is loose and I have a knack for getting out of these situations...

Being tied to a post is going to make it hard to drink the vial don't you think? lol

Although the term tied "loosely" was mentioned so... Maybe he's just being protective of the little girly ghost?

My turn:

The little girl looks at you with big, watery, transparent eyes. Her lips trembles. "My mother used to write little songs for me to sing to myself when I was scared. You� you can't write songs, can you? Maybe if you taught me one, I would be brave. Maybe then I could help your friends."

Finally a chance to redeem myself. Here comes Mr. Laser Beams to save the day with song. I have to start writing so that I can turn it in today. I will not fail you, friends! When I have a song, I will let you all know. While I do that, we should think of a way to help these ghosts DISAPPEAR, as this is a theme that keeps coming up.

Wow lots of excitement! Looks like we are going to need that bucket after all.

So if this happy, little tune doesn't convince this little girl ghost to help us, then I have lost my touch. I hope you all enjoy this!

My daily action:

"Well you're in luck, little girl. It just so happens that back home I play in a band and so I do write songs from time to time, and I think I have one that you can sing whenever you are afraid. If it works, maybe you and I can go help my friends and together we'll all find a way to get you and your brother back with your family!"

Clearing my throat a bit I break into a bouncy little tune that goes like this:

"When the night seems dark and scary
And the full moon fills the skies,
Just whistle a tune and call your friend
The Man with Laser Beam Eyes

No monster ever hurts you
No child ever cries,
When they see might and awesomeness of

Sometimes it hurts to be me.....on account of the awesomeness. Seriously though, I hope this helps to rescue all of you. Maybe stall the brother if you can to give me and the girl time to get there. She seems to think she can stop him from hurting you.
